Creating mixes and cool tracks from our favorite songs on the radio, we experience euphoria through their music and good vibes. Addicted to the sound and the feels, we can’t help but keep coming back for more music festivals, raves and concerts. While this niche remains a male dominated, the genre holds many talented women. Often female artists tend to get pushed to the side. We’re here to get you obsessing over these turntable talents. One of the coolest DJs in the game, Storm. She and Oldie became a dynamic duo as a drum and bass DJ team. Storm introduced Goldie to the DJ scene and they both took their drum and bass DJ set global. Storm has also had many achievements on her own as a DJ and producer. She’s opened for Kaskade and has performed at venues and clubs like the Staples Center, Supperclub, and the Avalon. Storm is global, and has been featured in top magazines like Vogue and Cosmo. Storm’s DJ style has hypnotized people worldwide with her dynamic vibe.

Sam Blacky is an amature DJ in Los Angeles that’s just starting out. She has a long way to go to reach the status of a DJ like Rezz, but her hit EP Boystown is a nice listen. Her music partner Coco Hara works closely with Blacky to create this magic. We must say though, for just starting out, Blacky has opened for some cool DJs like Eric Prydz and Benny Benassi. She actually started her career in music marketing then realized DJing was easy and wanted to do it. She got into it after getting inspired by Calvin Harris! Blacky started taking DJ lessons and learned how to hit those turntables. Now she’s deep in the party and festival scene, performing at OMNI, Firehouse Pacific Beach, Elements Music & Arts Festival, Doheny Room, VOID Mykonos, Dinsmoor Acapulco, Looloo Studio, etc. Traveling worldwide she’s gearing up to release new music. Sam Blacky isn’t just a talented DJ but has a spunky personality and doesn’t give a f*** what people think about her.

Sophia Lin is an international DJ and Producer who resides in Los Angeles and Vegas! Her unbelievable talent and stage presence is the root of her fame. Sophia has a great taste in music selections and an unbelievably energetic performance. Her fan base isn’t too large but her stardom continues to rise. She has traveled to more than 20 countries! She started off DJing at nightclubs in Las Vegas and then became the official DJ for the Hot Import Nights Tour. Later she became a resident at Coyote Ugly club in Vegas. Some of her upcoming shows will be at big venues like The Resident, The Avalon, and Catch One in Los Angeles.  She’s performed alongside other female DJs like rising DJ Storm. Sophia’s creative mixes and sex appeal speaks through her music. Her most recent popular song is “Everything I’ve Been Looking For” and is a must check out.

DJ Millie, one of the hottest up and coming DJs. Her father is the legendary bassist who played with Marvin Gaye and Luther Vandross. Millie has always loved music and has a large following on Instagram. She also models alongside her DJ gigs. She is starting to really make a name for herself as a DJ and has only been on the scene since 2012. She has played at various venues like The Yost Theatre, WACO Theatre, Hyde, and The Convention Center. She’s performed live mixes for various radio stations around Los Angeles and travels all over the US to DJ for people. Her sound is very vibetribe from funk mixes to rap edm and pop tracks, DJ Millie knows what’s up and how to get the crowd excited about her music. We love getting lost in her unique turntable feels, it’s almost like we’ve flown to heaven and back, riding above the clouds.

Los Angeles-based DJ Orange Calderon has covered most of the Continental US, opened for megastars including Skrillex, Travis Scott, SZA, Gucci Mane, Drake Bell, Alina Baraz, Pauly D, & O. Orange was also one of our first guests on our series, 2A.M. Chronicles. Cute, sassy, and super talented, Orange is the first female winner of a national DJ competition. She received the 1st place prize of the annual “Flavor Battle” DJ competition. Her manager, Dan Resnick says, “She is a special talent who is not just a DJ and curator but a musical mind who understands instrumentation, production and how to set an overall vibe for events, projects, playlists, etc… Orange has a vision for herself and her brand that stems from her marketing background.  She applies that vision across the board, creating a total package that transcends the music space.” Expect big things from DJ Orange Calderon!

Gotta love a girl who plays vinyl! Scratching two pink records wearing a Good Mood Los Angeles black hoodie, Patty Clover slays The Cypher Effect’s Scratch Session. Her hands move quickly and adeptly and there’s always a smile on this girl’s face. Her Instagram bio reads “In the pursuit of happiness,” and just watching Patty perform, you can tell she is doing what she loves. She has gained notoriety through her stage presence and scratch skills in DJ battle circles. Find Patty spinning all over LA at The Blind Dragon LA, New Wave Cholas, Sans Souci, The Rabbit Hole, etc…
