Blast off into 2026 with Countdown NYE, where DTLA will transform into a cosmic playground of immersive sounds, soaring visuals, and nonstop beats.
If your New Year’s Eve plans don’t already involve a dance floor that’s breaking orbit, this might be the moment they change. As 2025 winds down, Insomniac’s Countdown NYE steps into a fresh chapter. Now in its 11th year, this New Year’s Eve classic relocates to to DTLA, transforming the Los Angeles Convention Center into a fully immersive, intergalactic environment built for an all-night send-off on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The change opens the door to something bigger: four stages, multiple rooms of sound, large-scale visual installations, roaming performers, and the much-anticipated return of the Red Light District: a provocative pocket of the experience that blurs rave culture with after-hours theatrics. All of this sets the stage for a genre-spanning lineup curated to keep every corner of the dance floor moving well past midnight.
Leading the countdown is John Summit, whose festival-ready house sets are naturally engineered for hands-in-the-air moments. Balancing that energy is the melodic pull of Above & Beyond, while Pryda, Eric Prydz’s signature alias, is anticipated to deliver that slow-burning, progressive build known for pulling dancers deep into the night.
Madeon (DJ Set) will also bring his atmospheric selections, along with the heart-racing momentum from SLANDER and Sub Focus. Expect lively, bass-forward twists from Crankdat and Wuki, while Ship Wrek, MPH, and LA staple AK SPORTS keep the party locked in from first drop to last.
For fans of harder hitting sounds, the lineup digs even deeper. Get ready for full-throttle techno and hard dance from Kobosil, Cera Khin, Clara Cuvé, Kevin de Vries, and Shlømo, alongside fast-rising names southstar, Starjunk 95, Gravagerz, Close Friends Only, Marie Nyx, AR/CO, and OdyMel; a mix that reflects both global scenes and local pulse.
Countdown NYE isn’t just another NYE celebration, it’s a collective ritual and ultimate launchpad for ringing in the new year. It’s a place where house kids, techno purists, bass heads, and the tempo-curious all converge under one industrial sky, moving together as the city itself seems to pulse in time with the beats.
