On Friday night, the crowd at Très LA Bistro & Café looked less like a standard restaurant opening and more like a full-blown Los Angeles nightlife reunion. Hospitality insiders, nightlife regulars, creatives, tastemakers, designers, and VIP guests packed into the new French-inspired dining destination inside the iconic Pacific Design Center for the official grand opening debut and from the moment guests walked in, it was clear West Hollywood had its newest see-and-be-seen dinner destination.
The highly anticipated opening event introduced attendees to the restaurant’s Parisian-meets-California concept, blending European elegance with the unmistakable energy of Los Angeles nightlife culture. Designed by Très LA Group Founder and CEO Alan Dunn, the space felt cinematic in every sense of the word. Moody lighting, chic interiors, buzzing conversations, flowing cocktails, and live music transformed the Pacific Design Center into one of the hottest rooms in LA for the evening.
But while the crowd brought the energy, the food absolutely stole the show.

THE FOOD + BEV
Executive Chef Julio Castorena curated a decadent spread of elevated French-inspired cuisine that had guests circling the room for second and third rounds all night long. The steak quickly became one of the most talked-about dishes of the evening, perfectly cooked, rich, flavorful, and genuinely unforgettable. In a city filled with steakhouses competing for attention, Très LA managed to make a serious statement before officially launching dinner service.
The shrimp bar was another massive hit. Guests crowded around the beautifully presented seafood display throughout the night, snapping photos while loading plates with fresh shrimp and chef-driven accompaniments. It felt luxurious without trying too hard, exactly the type of elevated hospitality experience Los Angeles nightlife crowds gravitate toward right now.
Every corner of the event featured something indulgent. From curated small bites to cocktails crafted by Beverage Director Brad Lewandowski, the night leaned fully into abundance. There was no shortage of decadent flavors, beautifully plated dishes, or flowing drinks, making the grand opening feel less like a preview and more like the arrival of West Hollywood’s next major hospitality player.
THE GUESTS
Launching next week, Très LA Bistro & Café will officially debut its highly anticipated happy hour and dinner service with an expanded menu featuring signature dishes including Bluefin Tuna Tartare and Short Rib. Guests can also expect rotating weekly specials from Executive Chef Julio Castorena for both lunch and dinner service. Week one specials include Fermented Black Garlic Airline Chicken, Truffle Butter Poached Cod, and Wild Mushroom Pappardelle, giving Los Angeles food lovers even more reasons to make a reservation.
And honestly, that’s what made the evening stand out. The event captured the intersection of luxury dining, nightlife culture, and experiential hospitality that continues defining Los Angeles in 2026. Guests weren’t just attending another restaurant opening. They were stepping into a fully immersive social experience where the ambiance mattered just as much as the menu.
THE VENUE
The music and live entertainment kept the energy high throughout the night as guests moved between cocktail conversations, tasting stations, and photo-worthy moments inside the stunning venue. It was the kind of event where every table seemed to hold someone recognizable from LA’s nightlife and hospitality scene, reinforcing Très LA Bistro & Café’s instant positioning as a future industry hotspot.
Between the transportive design, elevated French-inspired menu, standout cocktails, and prime location inside Pacific Design Center, the venue feels poised to become a staple for everything from business dinners and date nights to late-night cocktails and celebrity-packed gatherings.
If the grand opening was any indication, Très LA Bistro & Café isn’t simply opening a restaurant. It’s creating an atmosphere. And in Los Angeles, atmosphere is everything.
