Don’t get me wrong, seeing Anne Hathaway in Giorgio Armani at Cannes Film Festival made my jaw drop – simple, effortless elegance styled perfectly for its on-camera debut. But even with all of the ruffles and red carpet glam that took place in France, for the month of May, my best-dressed award goes to. . . Mrs. Kourtney Kardashian Barker! In the most epic Italian Dolce and Gabbana Alta Moda love story: the reality star married the love of her life at the designer’s private villa in Portofino, Italy! I absolutely loved her corseted satin minidress, not to mention, that her hand-embroidered veil was extravagant and detailed with personal sentiments (meaning, ahead tattoo homage) to Blink 182 drummer and groom, Travis Barker. The bride looked stunning and chic in the 1960’s-lingerie-inspired mini dress. This dress was designed specifically for Kourtney by the Italian D&G design duo. She styled with fingerless gloves, lace pumps, and a small bouquet of red and white roses. It was romantic, with touches of rock and roll opulence. Simply put, it was purely beautiful. Her cathedral-length veil was detailed with a depiction of the Virgin Mary, complete with flowers from the oceanside of France. Did I mention the cherry on top? This swiftly became an iconic fashion moment because the entire family was also wearing head-to-toe Dolce and Gabbana! 

With the wedding season underway, I am pretty sure we will see plenty of short chic lace dresses going down the aisle or making a debut on the dance floor as a second dress option to pay tribute to this wedding season’s style muse, Mrs. K.Barker!
