An Inside Look Into How Karol G’s Hair Stylist Achieved Her Simply Straight Grammys Look

The rain was pouring, the wind was howling, and the clouds were not moving. The Grammys could not have happened on a worst night in the traditionally sunny Los Angeles. However, the bad weather did not stop the music industry’s finest from looking red carpet ready, including Colombian singer and songwriter Karol G. 

The artist took to the red carpet in a simply straight hairstyle that showed off her bleach blonde hair to pink ombreé tips. Despite the wind and the rain, there was not a hair out of place. Prepping the Hair 

After shampooing and conditioning the hair, Ramirez towel dured the hair and used the Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother to help prime, protect, and smooth the hair. The key ingredients here are the plant polymer shield that repels water, the botanical smoothing oil that nourishes cuticles, as well as the sand ginger which creates a naturally derived UV filter, creating a protection against the sun.

The Final Steps

After Karol G’s hair was prepped, Ramirez blow dried her head using a blow dryer and paddle brush and then smoothed everything over with a flat iron.
