7 Celebrity Hotspots in West Hollywood

Here’s where to go to party with the stars…

When someone visits New York, they often say, “I want to see The Statue Of Liberty.” When they visit Paris, it’s often “I want to see The Eiffel Tower.” But Los Angeles is a little different. Instead of wanting to see a historic landmark, a common request is, “I want to party and see a celebrity.” And it’s actually pretty easy to do.  Sure, you may not be able to get into Soho House or the uber-exclusive San Vicente Bungalows without a membership (or a very connected friend) but for those seeking out the stars, your best place to head out in West Hollywood where the clubs and restaurants are overflowing with A-Listers. From Drake’s favorite after-party spot to the poolside party palace owned by the spouse of an iconic supermodel, check out these seven star-studded West Hollywood venues.

THE NICE GUY

Pick up any celebrity magazine and you’re likely to see photos of stars stepping out of the h.wood Groups’ The Nice Guy. Inside, the hotspot’s aesthetic pays homage to a decadent era of Mafia bars and restaurants, where the owners and their friends can enjoy an evening together. The modern squad of A-List gangsters includes names like Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Ed Sheeran, Kaia Gerber, Rihanna, Hunter Schafer, Jaden Smith and Hailey & Justin Bieber.

Nestled in the space once occupied by STK, Poppy nightclub totally transports celebrity revelers into a unique storybook fantasy world. The space features a garden-inspired entrance, a kaleidoscope library and the fashion-inspired atrium (which gives off major Gucci vibes). More of an experience than a venue, Poppy guests find themselves among the fantastic bohemian cast of mermaids, peacocks, garden gypsies, baroque layers, human animals and swinging storytellers. (expect no less from h.wood Group). Poppy partiers can take it all in while dancing to the DJ beats, lounging in the indoor/outdoor patio area and receiving personalized poems or caricature portraits. Poppy also features a private room housing an exclusive bar under a curved upholstered ceiling where the VIPs like Kourtney Kardashian, The Weeknd, Madison Beer, Miguel, Chantel Jeffries, Anastasia Karanikolaou and Lottie Moss usually settle in.

Celebrity Approved Cocktail: While there is not a set cocktail program at Poppy, their bottle service is an event in itself. Bottled spirits are encapsulated in oversized roses, oyster shells and crystallized bathtubs, presented by their matching role-playing hostesses.
