BACARDÍ and MTV gave New Yorkers one more chance to savor summer at BACARDÍ’s Last Drops of Summer event, celebrating the season’s biggest hits ahead of next week’s 2024 Video Music Awards on September 11. Guests were immersed in the sound of rum with a space inspired by the songs we’ve had on repeat this summer. Notable attendees included 2024 VMA nominee Victoria Monet, DJ sister duo Coco & Breezy, DJ MERK, Kelly Flanagan, Riley Burruss and more.

Guests were welcomed into the party through the BACARDÍ Bodega, where a frozen version of the Camila Cabello’s signature BACARDÍ cocktail, the I LUV IT punch were served, alongside fridges stocked with BACARDÍ Ready-to-Drink canned cocktails, mini-Tajin bottles, Takis, and lollipops. Custom scratch-off tickets earned prizes throughout the event, including exclusive BACARDÍ merchandise like the brand’s BACARDI x Camila Cabello sugarcane vinyls and limited-edition VMA bottles.

Through a hidden door, guests stepped into the main event space, where a VMA Moon Person towered above a greenery-adorned photo moment, custom BACARDÍ bar, and towering sunset DJ booth.

2024 VMA nominee Victoria Monet made an appearance to celebrate the official end of summer with BACARDÍ Rum for an epic party, wearing a dress from The Atelier and sky-high heels from Stuart Weitzman. DJs MERK and Coco & Breezy kept the party moving as VIPs enjoyed specialty curated BACARDÍ cocktails including the VMA’s official cocktail, the “Moonwalk Mojito”, the BACARDÍ 808, That Mango Fuego, and the I LUV IT PUNCH,
