Dior SS24 Brings In A-List Front Row For Paris Fashion Week

What a crossover event

Milan Fashion Week is officially wrapped up, and now everyone is flocking to Paris for their fashion week. Dior was one of the first labels to hold their runway, and the guest list did not disappoint.

Pulling from all different types of franchises and backgrounds, the front row included actresses Jennifer Lawrence, Jenna Ortega, Anya Taylor-Joy, Rachel Zegler and Elizabeth Debicki. Singer and songwriter Rosalía was also there.

Dior is one of the best of the best, and creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri is continuing to explore themes of feminism and femininity. Models walked in primarily black and neutral ensembles, drastically contrasting a pink and yellow striped runway.

When I look at the images of Mr Dior’s work, I remind myself that they were done probably with a male gaze,” Chiuri stated yo Vogue. “I want to translate this with a view that’s more contemporary.”

The designer then continued on about what specifically inspired her, claiming that she wanted to design from non-conventional and non-stereotypical ideas such as the witches tried in the Middle Ages and the Parisiennes of 19th-century France.

Just as empowering as the collection was the front row. This was Ortega’s first Dior show. In a TikTok with Vogue, she showed off her two piece set and boots which she loved because they were “witchy and weird.”

“I wanted something that was classy, sophisticated [and] comfortable,” the “Wednesday” star said to the camera. “This is my first time at a Dior show, so I’m very very excited.”

Anya Taylor-Joy trended on X for her look. The “Last Night In Soho” star showed up in an all black set, topped with a shiny leather jacket. Her hair was slicked back, showing off her beautiful face structure. She looked like she belonged on the runway.

“Hunger Games” past and present collided as Jennifer Lawrence wore a white button up and sleek black pants and Rachel Zegler channeled her inner Snow White in an ankle length dress with butterfly detailing on the top.

Rosalía mirrored Lawrence in a white top black pants combo, and at the end of the row sat Elizabeth Deicki who like Ortega and Taylor-Joy wore a matching set. Her’s was completely black with heels that wrapped around the ankle.

Dior’s front row was one anyone could get excited over, and there was even more excitement as other stars made it to the show including BlackPink’s Jisoo! Stay tuned for more Paris Fashion Week sightings.
