Even if you’ve never seen a single episode of “Vanderpump Rules,” you know that the juiciest pop culture story to come out in 2023 so far has been #Scandoval.
ICYMI, back in March, news broke that one of Bravo’s favorite couples, Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval had broken up after Ariana discovered her live-in boyfriend of nearly a decade was having a seven-month long affair with their close friend and castmate Raquel Leviss.
With Season 10 of “Vanderpump Rules” already wrapped and airing, production quickly picked cameras back up to capture the epic fallout for an emergency episode.
The “VPR” cast firmly rallied around #TeamAriana, with the exception of Tom’s best friend and business partner Tom Schwartz, who was later revealed to have known about the affair for months.
As lies continued to be exposed, fans also turned on Tom Sandoval, boycotting his new Los Angeles bar and dubbing him “a worm with a mustache,” thanks to a viral insult hurled by castmate James Kennedy at the Season 10 reunion.
Two weeks after #Scandoval. broke, Ariana took to Instagram to thank her friends and fans for their support as she navigated the “betrayal on so many levels.” She also shared a new badass mantra: “What doesn’t kill me better run.”
