Holiday Road Returns To LA For The 4th Year

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Los Angeles, get ready for even more Christmas spirit because for the fourth year in a row, Holiday Road is back and even bigger, brighter, and merrier than before. What started originally as a drive through light show during the pandemic has grown exponentially to become one of Southern California’s top holiday attractions.

Welcoming over 100,000 people every year, Holiday Road includes larger-than-life holiday installations, and new film activations specifically revolving around Eddie Murphy’s new Christmas movie Candy Cane Lane, which follows the comedian trying to win his neighborhood’s Christmas decorating contest and accidentally enlists help from a mischievous elf who makes the 12 days of Christmas come to life. It will be available to stream on December 1st on Prime Video and also features Tracee Ellis Ross, and is directed by Reginald Hudlin

The holiday tradition returns to King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas Friday, Nov, 24 during Thanksgiving weekend and takes place for 22+ dates through the end of the year.

Holiday Road includes an immersive mile-long walking trail, interactive photo moments, festive souvenir shop, premium holiday bars, top food trucks and more. With the North Pole, Elf Village, Gingerbread Lane, impressive light tunnels, Christmas tree forests, countless candy canes and much more, guests will feel like they stepped away from the warm Southern California winter into a winter Wonderland. On select dates, kids can take their photo with live Santa and sing with carolers on select dates.

The dates that include the carolers and Santa and Mrs. Clause photo opportunities are listed below.

  • Nov. 24-25
  • Dec. 1-2
  • Dec. 8-9
  • Dec. 15-16

There are plenty of activities available on every day Holiday Road is open including the immersive walking trail that is nearly a mile long with immersive scenes, the Carver house from Candy Cane Lane, face painting, the souvenir shop, the winter market that features local vendors, holiday bars and food trucks!

“We are thrilled to be celebrating our 4th annual Holiday Road this year,” said Holiday Road co-founder, Ben Biscotti. “We look forward to bringing holiday cheer to the whole family again this year, with new surprises, including lantern art, immersive scenes and Candy Cane Lane activation where guests can come take a photo at the Carver’s house and experience the film’s magic!”
