There’s no one better to kick off this series than Hope Williams. Based in New York City, she creates fashion and lifestyle content around shopping for her body shape and encouraging women of all ages and sizes to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.

“Before I started sharing my journey, I was struggling to love myself,” Williams told Loop. “I was a size 10, curvy girl who was in search of a role model that had a similar body to mine. Growing up alongside social media, I felt that in order to feel beautiful I needed to look like the instagram models on my feed. After years of feeling insecure and filled with self-doubt, I took the leap and decided to share this journey with the internet.” 

She continued, “Overnight, my page was flooded with messages of women of all ages & sizing sharing their self-love journey and using my story to ignite confidence and peace within themselves. There are no words to describe the feeling of knowing you have helped another human feel beautiful on their own terms vs. societies. I am forever grateful that I had the courage to speak up and for the ever growing community of powerful women I have in my corner.”
