FYI — the pool is open to hotel guests only and the only exception to this rule is through a cabana rental. Pool service hours are from 11am-5pm during the off-season and 9am-7pm for the extended in-season hours. Starting in May, DJs spin open format music on the weekends, amping up the atmosphere with live entertainment.

Harriet’s Rooftop

Located on the rooftop of the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, Harriet’s spacious and old-fashioned cocktail lounge delivers a composed and relaxed atmosphere with overhanging string lights and luscious plants. Here’s a tip: if you want guaranteed entry, as admission is based on discretion at the door, book a room for the night, and remember to dress to impress. 

The Penthouse at The Huntley

Perhaps one of the most elegant rooftops in Santa Monica, The Penthouse on the 18th floor of the Huntley Hotel serves as a restaurant and lounge offering incredible views of the ocean and rolling hills of LA through its floor to ceiling windows. The interior design is composed of white leather armchairs and cozy booths surrounded by sheer white curtains, thanks to famed designer Thomas Schoos.
