This season’s newly single “It Girl,” Ms. Lori Harvey, has officially joined the conversation on June’s best dressed. A true fan of fashion, she wears high-style looks with so much ease and natural panache. I grew up admiring R&B Princess Aaliyah for her music, ability to dance, and of course, her fashion sense. Showing navels and hips in low-rise cargos and crop tops, sexy hair, and perfectly lined lips, she was a true inspiration. And after decades of craving a similar icon, we finally have a “cool girl” to obsess over. 

With Los Angeles buzzing this past week with BET Awards, after parties, album releases, grand openings, gifting suits, and more, we saw celebrities and socialites alike making their rounds all over the city. Spotted in West Hollywood on June 24th at Tao for Kin Euphorics‘ launch hosted by Bella Hadid, Lori wore a blue and white two-piece corseted-top and trouser, both vintage Roberto Cavalli (2005), paired with a Bottega Veneta Mini Jodie bag and strappy white heels to finish the look. But Lori doesn’t stop there, she also makes sure that her hair and makeup pull every inch of the look together. She donned a sexy, short summer bob with a deep side part and her signature smokey brown eye and lusty pout.

How do we know when the models, celebrities, etc have truly come into their own? When they can have their stylist pull from the archives and have us, onlookers, wondering which designer they’re rocking, where can we purchase this look, and how do they just keep doing this!? Lori truly is the girl to watch this summer and seasons to come.
