New Playlist With Music From Travis Scott, MadeInTYO and Burna Boy

On Repeat Vol.6

With this week's installation of “On Repeat,” we’ve curated new singles from Travis Scott, MadeInTYO and Burna Boy.

Last week, MadeInTYO released his new single “Money Up,” featuring—and produced by—Toro y Moi, a studio recording artist whose talent and music genre blends alternative electronic and hip hop.

Following MadeInTYO’s single is the major release of Travis Scott’s “Franchise” featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. Travis Scott has blown up during the past few years after launching his studio album “Astroworld” in 2018, followed by his “JACKBOYS” project in 2019. Scott recently released a signature sandwich deal with Mcdonald’s (the first ever of its kind), which has not only propelled his popularity further but also increased the demand for him to create even more music. The release of the single “Franchise,” which dropped on Friday, has been at the top of fans’ minds, along with the delectable Mcdonald’s sandwich he has also been promoting.

Another highlighted artist this week is the international Nigerian talent Burna Boy and his latest album “Twice As Tall,” which was released in August. He has since been able to sit back and watch the world consume his art while quarantined at his home studio in Nigeria. We have listed three of Burna Boy’s tracks on this week’s list, including one off of his latest album featuring Chris Martin called “Monster’s You Made,” which speaks on classism, institutional racism and generational grief.
