The energy was electric the moment I stepped into NeueHouse Hollywood for the Black Radiance X Cross Colours Launch Party. Hosted by the effortlessly cool Loren Lorosa, this night was all about celebrating culture, legacy, and unapologetic self-expression. And let me tell you—it did not disappoint!
From the second I walked in, the vibe was pure nostalgia meets modern swag. Neon lights pulsed in bold hues of gold, red, green, and black, setting the perfect backdrop for a night where beauty and fashion collided in the best way possible. The space was buzzing with industry insiders, creatives, and celebrities, all gathered to witness this epic collaboration come to life.
Cocktails in hand (named after ‘90s hip-hop anthems, of course), we explored the scene. There was a beauty bar for guests to try out some fierce Black Radiance looks—think bold pigments, glowing skin, and high-gloss lips that screamed confidence. Across the room, an interactive fashion installation showcased Cross Colours’ legendary streetwear, blending old-school classics with fresh new styles.
Then came the moment we were all waiting for—the fashion show. And wow. Models hit the runway rocking oversized jackets, color-blocked sweatshirts, and statement accessories that felt straight out of the golden age of hip-hop. Every look was a perfect throwback with a modern twist, and the makeup? Absolutely flawless.
Just when I thought the night couldn’t get any better, Dawn Richard took the stage and lit it up with a high-energy performance that had the entire room moving. The mix of old-school beats and fresh new sounds perfectly embodied the night’s theme—honoring the past while stepping boldly into the future. It was the kind of performance that makes you stop and just soak in the moment.
Between sips, snaps, and nonstop dancing, I ran into some familiar faces—Joivan Wade, Mitchell Edwards, and Camille Hyde were all there, adding even more star power to an already epic night.
