I recently had the pleasure of staying in the City King room for almost a week while working on a super exciting (but totally hush-hush) shoot for LOOP’s December cover. Let me just say, this place is EVERYTHING.
From the moment you step through the front door, you are greeted with a warm smile at the front desk. The rooftop views practically scream “toast to this” and the hotel checks all the boxes for your ultimate Hollywood escape. As someone who knows their way around West Hollywood hotels, trust me when I say that this one is at the top of my list. And while I can’t spill the beans on our cover star just yet, I can spill all the tea about this incredible hot spot!

I loved taking mirror selfies in my room’s bathroom, the lighting was amazing and the cute robe they provided made me feel like the princess I am.

Picture this: dancing under the stars with the Hollywood Sign in the background, cocktails so good they could win awards, and a DJ spinning tracks that make you forget tomorrow exists.
Pro tip: Order the “Hollywood Heights” cocktail—a smoky, tangy mezcal masterpiece—and pair it with truffle fries for peak indulgence. Whether you’re poolside or sitting at the bar, you’ll be living your best life.

Let’s be real: in Hollywood, the party doesn’t stop. After a night of rooftop revelry, retreat to one of The Godfrey’s 220 guest rooms, designed with chic furnishings and indulgent amenities. And don’t even get me started on brunch at About Last Knife, the hotel’s gastropub-meets-steakhouse. I went to ALK with a group of friends and we ordered the Warm Baguette, Artisan Caesar Salad, Hollywood Signature Burger, Drunken Tiger Shrimp Tacos, and House Chicken Wings. The once-chatty table fell silent when the food came and we all began digging in. That plus our collective clean plates means everyone was satisfied!

Right on Cahuenga Boulevard, The Godfrey is steps away from iconic landmarks like the Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre. Plus, the area’s brimming with trendy bars, live music spots, and restaurants that’ll keep your night going.
When I stayed at The Godfrey, I got dressed up in a sexy black dress and heels, headed to SoHo House West Hollywood for a drink, then across the street to Bootsy Bellows. It was an easy 10 minute Uber ride from the hotel and an even faster commute home. It was great being able to stumble into a hotel after an amazing night and not have to worry about a long commute home.
