OMG-worthy skin.….
At Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, R&B icon Usher took over the stage with an electrifying halftime performance that had everyone up on their feet.
As social media lit up commenting on his killer moves and silky vocals, many took note of how youthful and glowy the 45-year-old looked. Turns out, the “Yeah!” singer worked with celebrity makeup artist Lola Okanlawon who used a full routine of Danucera, the skincare line by celebrity esthetician Danuta Mieloch, to create his Super Bowl glow.
According to Lola, Danucera’s Cerabalm was hero product of the night, calming the skin and preparing his face and chest for a lit-from-within finish.
“The key to Usher’s grooming is skincare,” she says. “I used the complete Danucera line to nourish and perfect the skin. This made his skin supple and perfectly prepped.”
Check out Lola’s step-by-step skincare breakdown and shop the products she used on Usher below.
STEP 1: SCULPTING STONE
$42
“I started with using the Sculpting Stone to help release any tension he may have in his face,” says Lola. “This helped with lymphatic drainage and reoxygenation of the blood so the skin prep penetrated deeply into the skin.”
STEP 2: CERABALM
$95
“Then, I used Cerabalm to cleanse the skin,” says Lola. “Cleansing the skin is important to get rid of toxins and impurities for a clean canvas.”
STEP 3: D22 Tonic
$88
“Next, I followed up with D22 Tonic to help tone,” says Lola. “This helps promote smooth and glowy skin and balances the pH of his skin.”
STEP 4: CREAM SUPREME
$195
STEP 5: ICONIC EYE
$145
“Finally, I used Cream Supreme to moisturize and Iconic Eye,” Lola shares. “I love how supple it makes the skin feel before I prepare to prime the skin for complexion. The eye cream makes his under eyes hydrated and helps to brighten.”
STEP 6: DUAL WASHCLOTH
$16
“Right before halftime, I used the Dual Washcloth to dab any sweat without disrupting his complexion and letting his skin shine through.”
STEP 7: CERABALM
$95
“For his skin prep from the neck down, his barber usually trims down any chest hairs and I follow behind with a body moisturizer to keep the skin glowing and hydrated,” Lola says. “This time I used Danucera Cerabalm on top for an added layer of hydration and to catch the light.”
