Wednesday’s are especially catered to the 80’s/90’s “Soul Babies” on a night promoter, Monica Payne, likes to call, “Cherry Poppin.” Free before 10:30 p.m. and only $10 after, this is where the sophisticated hip-hop crowd comes to mingle and move to the sounds of resident DJ’s, Tailwind Turner and Tendaji Lathan, collectively known as “TNT.” In classic hip-hop fashion, KG Superstar serves as the Master of Ceremonies and definitely keeps the party rocking.
