Trixie Mattel Spins At Netflix's Happy Holigays: A Toast With MOST Event At NeueHouse Hollywood

Drag superstar turned DJ.….

On Monday, Dec. 18, Netflix and MOST (Netflix’s home of LGBTQ+ storytelling) hosted an intimate party to celebrate LGBTQ+ talent and programming in 2023 and 2024.

The evening began with a cocktail hour and DJ set from none other than Trixie Mattel followed by passed bites and seated vignettes showcasing titles while guests mixed and mingled. Whembley Sewell (Netflix Multicultural) gave welcome and celebratory remarks, spotlighting some of Netflix’s 2023 titles and recognizing talent in the room followed by a sizzle reel. 

Famous faces in attendance included Niecy Nash-Betts, Rustin actor Colman Domingo, Wednesday actor Hunter Doohan, Good Grief star Arnaud Valois, drag star Monét X Change and more.

The evening continued with a panel, “Keep Doing the Most: Celebrating This Year’s Stand Out Stories,”  hosted and moderated by Survival of the Thickest star Peppermint. The panel featured Eugene Lee Yang (Nimona), Dua Saleh (Sex Education), Ally Pankiw (Black Mirror, Director), and Julian Breece (Rustin, Co-writer) and talent spoke to the power of LGBTQ+ representation, and what it means to bring our most authentic stories to life.

Additional attending talent included Diana Nyad, Bonnie Stoll, James Ford, Danny Godoy, Mason Alexander Park, Caleb Hearon, Brittani Nichols, Trace Lysette, Terry Hu, Regan Aliyah, Johnna Dias-Watson, Philemon Chambers, Salina EsTitties and Ryan White.
