Baar Baar focuses on elevated Indian cuisine serving dishes that stay true to authentic flavors with a modern take, and offers specialty craft cocktails inspired by Bollywood films past and present. Be My Dumpling, Baby Cooking Class at Fatty Mat

This Valentine’s Day, get ready to ask that special someone to ‘Be My Dumpling, Baby!’ Treat your other half or a crew of friends to a night of eating, drinking and learning with Chef David Kuo at Fatty Mart. They’ll provide all the ingredients, plus some pizza, wings, and salad to munch on with either beer or wine as you assemble. Isla in Santa Monica is bursting into this new year with an array of new menu items… PASTA items, to be exact! Chef Brian Bornemann is venturing back to his pasta-making roots, which will be on display for all lovers, friends and galentines to enjoy this Valentine’s Day. The $115 pp 4-course menu on Feb. 14 includes culinary delights such as Kanpachi + Uni Crudo with yuzu oil, Wood-Roasted Savoy Cabbage with mustard emulsion, pasta choices from a Dungeness Crab + Saffron Tagliolini to Bucatini with roasted tomato and Wild Chanterelle Risotto, and mains like Miso-Paprika Glazed Cod and Wood Roasted Clams with sherry broth and crispy shallots.

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Le Champ Restaurant & Wine Garden

Down at the dreamy Arts District wine garden Le Champ, which just opened in the fall, Matt Bronfeld and Chef Justin Hilbert will be offering bottles of bubbles for $50 and a prix fixe dinner menu this Feb. 14 with menu items such as the Filet Mignon with a potato and bacon terrine, bone marrow and sauce bordelaise.
