WeHoPride Guide 2024: Parties, Parades, Music & More

For decades, West Hollywood has been home to one of the largest annual Pride celebrations in the world, drawing hundreds of thousands of people each June. 

WeHo Pride 2024 kicked things off on Harvey Milk Day on May 22 with the 2nd annual José Julio Sarria Drag Pageant. Now, West Hollywood leads June Pride month celebrations with WeHo Pride Weekend from Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, including a free weekend Street Fair, the ticketed OUTLOUD @ WeHo Pride Music Festival, the annual WeHo Pride Parade and much more!

Entertainment venues in West Hollywood’s Rainbow District along historic Route 66 will also produce a number of special Pride parties and events, so whether you are looking to get lit or just celebrate love, the weekend will be packed with fabulous fun.

EVENTS

WeHo Pride Street Fair

The WeHo Pride Street Fair will take place over the weekend and will celebrate Pride with diverse participation of LGBTQ+ community groups and allied organizations as part of visibility and expression. The Street Fair is free and will feature a vibrant variety of exhibitors along Santa Monica Boulevard. There will be live entertainment and performances on a community stage, highlighting the LGBTQ+ community. The Street Fair is a family-friendly event and is open to everyone. It is a great occasion to take part in WeHo Pride’s LGBTQ+ community experience. 

When: Saturday, June 1 Sunday, June 2 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Women’s Freedom Festival 

The Women’s Freedom Festival, co-sponsored and produced by the L-Project, is a free festival featuring emerging LGBTQ+ and BIPOC women, non-binary musicians, comedians, poets, and activists. This year’s performers include KingQueen, MariahCounts, Medusa, Theia, Gattison, Cheri Moon, Shiah Luna, Nekeith, DJ SterlingVictorian, DJ Boom Boom, Suri Chan, Jen Cheng, and will be hosted by Jackie Steele.

When: Saturday, June 1 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Dyke March

Featuring a motorcycle-led march, this annual rally will begin immediately following the Women’s Freedom Festival along Santa Monica Boulevard.

WeHo Pride Parade

Get festive as we roll down Santa Monica Boulevard for the WeHo Pride Parade on Sunday, June 2. The WeHo Pride Parade is an imaginative and colorful annual tradition along Santa Monica Boulevard that embraces LGBTQ+ representation, inclusion, and progress. Full of music, dancing, colorful floats, festive marching contingents, and creative flair, the Parade celebrates LGBTQ+ people and our contributions to community and culture. The Parade is a lively, energetic experience with good cheer and great vibes, and a whole lot of rainbows! Whether you participate in the Parade or join in the fun as a spectator, there’s something for everyone at the WeHo Pride Parade.

WeHo Pride Arts Festival

WeHo Pride Arts Festival will take place Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16 at various locations throughout the City of West Hollywood. First launched in 2008, and formerly known as the One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival, this year’s Arts Festival will feature a stellar range of LGBTQ+ dance, visual art, performance, literary arts, and more.

MUSIC

OUTLOUD Music Festival + Community Concert

OUTLOUD Music Festivalan annual award-winning, ticketed concert event highlighting LGBTQ+ artistry returns for 2024 with a star-studded, high-energy lineup. Taking place Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 in West Hollywood Park and produced by JJLA, OUTLOUD at headliners include Kylie Minogue, Janelle Monāe and Diplo.

Other big name entertainers taking the stage include RuPaul’s Drag Race star Trixie Mattel, Keke Palmer, Noah Cyrus, Doechii, Ashnikko, Channel Tres, Big Freedia, Yaeji and many others.

In addition to the ticketed festival, the special FREE Friday Night at OUTLOUD community concert that will kick off the fun with Kesha headlining an electrifying music mix and additional performances by Adam Lambert, Monét X Change, Laganja Estranja vs. Morphine Love Dion, Niña Dioz, Jessica Betts, Owenn, and Venessa Michaels.

Passes for OUTLOUD 2024 are now available for purchase HERE. Weekend passes are $228. Single day passes for Saturday and Sunday are $136 and $146, respectively. While VIP is sold out, you can join the VIP waitlist to be notified when/if additional VIP Passes become available.

Electric Jungle Pride at Rocco’s WeHo

Welcome to the jungle, the Election Jungle! This weekend long event at Rocco’s WeHo will be non stop wild with pulsating sets by Ty Bërri, Guatamex, Ryan Kenney, Liv, Codak and Patrick Kuzara.

Pride Pool Party at Hotel Ziggy

Hotel Ziggy, known for its trendy and eclectic vibe, will be hosting a sizzling poolside Pride party with Shaun Ross and Cherry Lee. Attendees can expect a lively day filled with music, dancing, and socializing, as well as themed decorations and entertainment that celebrate LGBTQ+ culture and community.

Pride Pool Party at The Andaz West Hollywood

On June 1, Groove Equal and Stefano Rosso will host a killer rooftop poolside pride party The Andaz West Hollywood. Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with pulsating beats of live DJs like Ty Bërri and Jae Fusz and freedom and self-expression on full display.

Sip & Sashay Sunday Drag Brunch at Gracias Madre West Hollywood

Gracias Madre West Hollywood is celebrating Pride all month long with live drag performances and cocktail specials on Sundays. On WeHo Pride weekend, Annie Biotixx will host and Bohenne Arreaux and Miss Kendoll will perform. Don’t forget to bring cash to tip your queens! Show starts at 11 a.m. Reservations recommended.

CHC Pride Party at Weho Bistro

CH CRE8TIVE in partnership with beloved neighborhood restaurant WeHo Bistro, will be taking over the parking garage rooftop of WeHo Bistro and CVS on Sunday, June 2 during the Parade for its sweet 16th Pride party. The bash will feature sounds by Simpli J and Ryan Kenney.

Pride Pool Party at SLS

Hump Events with Aaron Colbert Entertainment & Above The Cloud are throwing an epic rooftop Pride pool party at the SLS in Beverly Hills. There will be a special happy hour menu from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and DJ sets by Aaron himself, Skemaddox, Mike Taylor, Jon Klaft and Jae Fusz. Come early as this event gets packed out. Make sure to bring your best swim suit and lewk!

Big Pinky Dance Party at SUR

Lisa Vanderpump‘s iconic restaurant SUR will throwing its its annual Big Pinky Dance Party following the parade on Sunday. The Pride bash will feature beats by Mascfish and will be hosted by Israel Isaac

Pearl Pool Party at Hotel Ziggy

Hotel Ziggy, will keep the party going through Sunday with its Pearl Pool Party, featuring music by Edward Frame and Alexis Tucci.
