Anderson .Paak to DJ Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica In Support Of Maui

Eats, beats and bubblin’ for a good cause…

Missed out on seeing Grammy winner Anderson .Paak at The Bungalow Long Beach opening back in May? Now’s your second chance. On Thursday, Aug. 24, the “Bubblin” rapper will be guest DJing a special all-vinyl set at Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica as DJ Pee .Wee.

For the event, a $20 entrance fee will go directly towards the towards two significant Maui causes – the Hawai’i Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund and the Maui Humane Society (kids under 12 free). The Fairmont Miramar will further enhance the fundraising efforts by generously matching contributions up to $5,000.

Night Market at The Bungalow happens every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. throughout the month of July and August. It’s pet and family friendly, so bring your furry friends and enjoy some of LA’s favorite restaurants and speciality craft cocktails this summer.

The summer event series kicked off in June with Grammy-nominated artist Mayer Hawthorne spinning an all-vinyl DJ set, setting the tone for the incredible lineup of celebrity guest bartenders and surprise DJ performances throughout the summer.

Standout food vendors this year include Lobsterdamus,  cooking up their famous Lobster’s Nest and Lobster Truffle Fries throughout the summer, The Arepa Stand, sharing their delicious Venezuelan street food and LA staple Uncle Paulies, bringing their ever popular New York style deli sandwiches to the west side and more. Secret Vegan Pizza, and Gooey Center are also retuning once again to delight foodies with their dishes.

The visionary behind Night Market, Brent Bolthouse, designed the event to bring people together through the universal love language of good food, great drinks, and vibrant entertainment. This perfect combination, coupled with LA’s beautiful summer nights, will provide guests with an opportunity to mix and mingle with their family and friends while sampling mouth watering dishes from some of LA’s most beloved restaurants.

“Night Market gets bigger and better every year with new food vendors, live music, great drinks and even some surprise celebrity guests,” says Bolthouse, “Food is the ultimate connector and I wanted to create an event where families and guests of all ages can come together and enjoy each other’s company while eating some of the best food that LA has to offer. I can’t wait to have everyone enjoy their summer evenings with us at Night Market.”
