Michael Kors is bringing back 90s hair with his most recent fashion show for NYFW F/W 2024. Everyone loves a classic 90s hairstyle whether it’s a classic bouncy blowout or a sharp pixie cut. The era came from a response to the opulent 80s supermodel era, as the new decade became known for minimalism and pairing down. 

The natural and simple styles of the Michael Kors show brought back that nostalgia. Celebrity hairstylist Orlando Pita claimed his focus was creating natural and healthy looking hair. This created a range of effortless knots, choppy cuts, and healthy afros. The models of course looked glamorous, each being given individualized treatment, but their styles looked attainable like they could do them themselves.
