The rock legends are back in the West……
The West Coast is the best coast, and it just got even better because yesterday, September 20th, Coldplay launched the West Coast leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The rock band started in Seattle, Washington and has six more sold out shows including Vancouver, San Diego, and Los Angeles.
Here in L.A., the “Hymn For The Weekend” band has two sold out shows at the Rose Bowl Sept. 30and Oct. 1, and they will be joined by openers H.E.R and 070 Shake. Los Angeles is the last city on the West Coast leg before the band makes their way to Asia for the fall and winter and to Europe for the summer. To see their full tour schedule, click HERE.
Last night’s Lumen Field show also increased fan’s excitement, as it revealed the latest setlist. Coldplay performs for 22 songs, with an adequate mixture of songs from the Music of the Spheres album (including “Let Somebody Go” and “My Universe”) as well as their classic hits (including “Yellow,” “The Scientist,” and “Viva La Vida”).
Staying true to the tour’s name, the band opens with “Higher Power” and ends with “Biutyful,” both songs from their latest album.
