Hopped Up: 6 Decadent Chocolate Cocktail Recipes For Easter

Easter comes early this year, falling on Sunday, March 31, but you don’t have to be a kid huntings for eggs to find the perfect piece of chocolate.
This year, indulge in your own spirited chocolate treats with dessert-like cocktails based with Mozart Chocolate Liqueur. The decadent spirit hails from the Mozart Distillerie in Salzburg, Austria and includes serval delicious varieties in its portfolio.
The cornerstone of the Mozart portfolio is the Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur. This gluten-free expression is a very creamy and full-bodied milk chocolate liqueur refined with Belgian chocolate that offers aromatic notes of vanilla and cocoa. The Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur showcases smoky herbal notes of cocoa beans with vanilla, caramel, and a hint of toffee and is vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free.

Mozart Creme Egg Martini
(Serves 2)
Ingredients:
- 4 oz Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur
- 3 oz Vodka
- 0.25 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- A few drops of yellow food coloring
- 0.25 cup Chocolate Chips
- 2 – 3 Mini Creme Eggs
- 6 Mini Creme Egg Minis (for garnish)
Method: Melt the chocolate chips and pour onto a small plate. Chop the creme eggs and place on a plate. Dip two coupes into the melted chocolate, followed by the chopped creme eggs to rim the glasses. Mix 3 drops of yellow food coloring in the condensed milk. Combine Mozart Chocolate Cream Liqueur and vodka in a shaker with ice and shake until cold. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the glasses, then slowly pour in the Mozart/vodka mixture. Skewer three creme eggs for garnish.
Mozart Chocolate Gin Fizz

Ingredients:
- 3 cl Mozart Strawberry Chocolate Liqueur
- 3 cl Gin
- 1.5 cl Lemon Juice (Freshly Squeezed)
- 1 cl Sugar Syrup
- Soda
- Strawberries (sliced for garnish)
Method: Mix all the ingredients, except the soda, with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker or any screw-top jar. Put some ice cubes into the Mozart Tumbler and strain the choctail into it. Top up with soda. Put some sliced strawberries on a cocktail stick and place it on the glass.
Chocolate Margarita
Ingredients:
- 2 cl Mozart Cream Chocolate Liqueur
- 4 cl Tequila
- 1 cl Orange Liqueur
- 2 cl Cream
- Chocolate Flakes (for garnish)
Method: Mix all the ingredients with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker or any screw-top jar. Put some ice cubes in the Mozart Tumbler and strain the choctail into it. Top with chocolate flakes.
Chocolate Grasshopper XXL
Ingredients:
- 4 cl Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur
- 3 cl Crème de Menthe
- 1 cl Cream
- 8 cl Vanilla Milk
- Mint (for garnish)
Method: Mix all the ingredients with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker or any screw-top jar. Put some ice cubes in the Mozart Tumbler and strain the choctail into it. Top with a mint leaf.
White Chocolate Lady Rose
Ingredients:
- 4 cl Mozart White Chocolate Liqueur
- 1.5 cl Rose Syrup
- 1.5 cl Almond Syrup
- 4 cl Cream
- Rose Petals (for garnish)
Method: Mix all the ingredients with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker or any screw-top jar. Put some ice cubes in the Mozart Tumbler and strain the choctail into it. Top with a rose leaf.
Chocolate Gimlet
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cl Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur
- 4 cl London Dry Gin
- 1.5 cl Lime-Juice Cordial
- Juice of a Lime Slice
- Lime Zest (for garnish)
Method: Mix all the ingredients on ice cubes in the Mozart Tumbler and stir with a bar spoon. Top with a twist of lime zest.
