It’s that Killatrav drip….
Sure, Travis Kelce is considered one of the best tight ends in NFL history, but off the football field, the Kansas City Chiefs player continues to making waves. (And no, not just because of of his new hot new romance with Taylor Swift). Famous for his “Game Day ‘Fits,” Travis’ unique fashion sense is on display every Sunday, which often sparks debate on whether the star is looking fly or more like a total goof.
The athlete’s signature style certainly isn’t one to fade into the background. Travis’ closet is stacked with designer duds, ranging from velvet pants, to vintage silk shirts to Dior suits. Recently, Travis turned heads rockin’ a denim-on-denim, blue painterly look from KidSuper Studio alongside his girlfriend while celebrating his team’s win over the Chicago Bears. The brand later renamed the set— originally called originally named The Bedroom Painting—to 1989 Bedroom Painting, a nod to Swift’s album, 1989, which the singer-songwriter is re-releasing on Oct. 27. Let’s just say fans were mixed with their reactions.

A self-described “impulse shopper,” Travis recently told The Wall Street Journal that he puts a lot a thought into creating his outfits and can devote as many as three hours to choosing the perfect pre-game or post-game ‘fit. And if not everyone is catching his vibe, Travis is totally fine with that.
“Obviously, not every look is for everybody,” he admitted to the publication. “I’m not going to be offended if somebody says I look like a clown if I got a fun hat on and some wacky jeans. It is what it is, I’m gonna have fun with it.”
A longtime fashion fan, Travis said his NFL paychecks have helped him elevate his style game, telling WSJ, “Money gave me access to certain designers and just certain fabrics that I absolutely love now.”
Love it or hate it, you’ve got to admit, Travis is anything but boring. Recently at LA Fashion Week, powered by Art Hearts Fashion, we couldn’t help but imagine some of the standout menswears looks on the two-time Super Bowl winner. Check out the bold LAFW ‘fits we think Travis would totally rock on game day below.
The Truth Be Told collection was so stacked with Travis-esque looks, it was impossible for us to choose just one. We know the athlete would be mad for plaid if he saw this swaggy streetwear ensemble. The buffalo-check patterned jacket and matching layered shorts/pants look is equal parts cool and confusing, which sums up a lot of the Travis’ outfits actually.
Comfy, chic and sleek, this textured Mister Triple X look, designed by Erik Rosete, plays on the poplar pajamas-out-of-bed trend, but is cut like a sick tailored suit. It’s the perfect ensemble for Travis to wear on a private jet.
De Florencio is a LA-based label created by self-taught designer Nino Cutraro, and a favorite of rebel celebs like Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Nas X. It describes itself as “a rockstar streetwear clothing line that merges edgy, rock-inspired aesthetics with modern, urban flair,” which totally sounds up Travis’ alley. This sporty black and green jacket and shorts set is exactly the type of drip the tight end would wear when entering a stadium.
Over at the Priestley show, this suit jacket immediately caught our attention. The collection hails from designer and fine artist Rhonda Priestley who creates one-of-a-kind pieces that are both original art and exceptional apparel. We could totally see Travis rockin’ this painterly print and skinny trousers combo, along with his favorite black-on-black Louis Vuitton luggage.
Not sure we’ve ever seen Travis in a jumpsuit, but we wouldn’t put it past him, This flashy denim one-piece, featuring a festive Chinese motif, comes from Love For Upcycling, a zero-waste, sustainable fashion brand by Jose Alexander.
Speaking of jumpsuits, Travis doesn’t wear a lot of black but if he’s feeling a little moody (or inspired by Taylor’s Reputation era), we could see him donning this dark, utility-inspired one-piece from Michael Costello‘s latest collection.
Ok, so maybe Travis wouldn’t wear this entire look on game day (we can’t really picture him in a veil), however, we can certainly see him showing off this Walter Mendez jacket on the red carpet at the ESPYs (or maybe the Grammys as Taylor’s date). Double-breasted and dripping in crystals, this is how Killatrav would do elegance.
