While many of us are still drippin’ in silver and disco dancing following Beyoncé jaw-dropping Renaissance tour last year, the superstar gave us one hell of plot twist as she entered her Cowboy Carter era.

Act II: Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé eighth studio album, officially dropped on March 29, via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. Heavily influenced by country music, it is the second installment of Beyoncé’s trilogy project following 2022’s Renaissance.

Along with the album announcement, the twangy first single, “Texas Hold ‘Em” originally dropped during the 2024 Super Bowl. “Texas Hold ‘Em”quickly made history as it topped the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Beyoncé’s 13th number-one song on the chart (her 9th as a solo artist) and the Hot Country Songs chart, making her the first Black woman ever with a number-one country song.

But it’s not just Bey’s music that has taken a wild western shift. The Houston native has had been serving up a head-to-to cool cowgirl makeover, complete with 10 gallon hats, bolero ties, boots and more.
