Yup it’s that time of the year..

Sometimes it’s good to take a break from playing host and spending Thanksgiving stuck in the kitchen, not to mention the dreadful washing up and cleaning that goes along with it. Or, for those of us that are LA transplants and can’t make it home for this holiday, cooking for only a couple people may seem out of the question. Why not truly enjoy your break by letting yourself off the hosting-hook and have a relaxing holiday spending proper time with your loved ones – whether that be family or friends. So get your fat pants ready for some of the best restaurants to spend Thanksgiving in LA this year

Kali – Hollywood/Larchmont

Want to try a Michelin star Thanksgiving experience? Then head over to Kali, they’re offering their annual three-course traditional feast with a Californian flare. Dishes are served family style on November 25th from 3-8pm. Items include a Persimmon Yellowtail Crudo, Mary’s Farm Roasted Heritage Turkey and Rosemary Bread Stuffing.

Barton G – West Hollywood

Full of whimsical flare and extravagance, Barton G will give you an experience to remember. They’re serving a three-course menu with dishes like Roasted Hubbard Squash Salad and Herb Roasted Heritage Turkey with Rome Beauty Apple and Brown-Butter Sage Stuffing. They also have an A La Carte menu with an appetizer at $18, Entrees $56, and Dessert for $20 to choose from.

The Little Door – Beverly Grove

The opportunity to dine at the most romantic restaurant in LA for Thanksgiving is a great idea, especially if it’s going to be a quiet one with just you and your s/o – might as well celebrate in style! Chef Jonathan Portela is offering a Thanksgiving sharing menu from 3-9pm. A condensed version of their regular menu is also available.

Price: $80 per person.

TheBlvd – Beverly Hills

Thanksgiving with a side of entertainment? TheBlvd in the Beverly Wilshire hotel will be serving a three-course dinner from 11.30am-9.30pm, along with live music from 2-10pm. Enjoy dinner with all the frills. There’s even additional chilled seafood, caviar, and champagne experience which can be added onto your Thanksgiving feast. Mains include Braised Beef Short Ribs or Roasted “Diestel” Ranch Turkey Roulade and Apple Pie or Frozen Carrot Cheesecake for dessert.

Located in the heart of Arts District, organic restaurant Manuela is offering a family-style serving of First Course and sides, while the main course items and dessert are served individually, with vegan and vegetarian options available as well. Main Course dishes include Liberty Farms Duck Breast, Diver Scallops, and Smoked Heritage Turkey. Dinner is served from 2-8pm. Valet $6.

You will literally be dining all the way up at 71Above, with amazing 360° views of Los Angeles. The upscale and sophisticated atmosphere with outstanding service. Serving a three-course Thanksgiving dinner with first course dishes like Crispy Octopus or Pork Fritter, Second Course is Mary’s Turkey Breast with family-style sides. There is an option to add Wine Pairing for $48. Don’t forget to validate valet parking for $10.

This super cute restaurant is located inside the Fairmont Hotel. You can have a true warm experience, which includes the whole family – dogs are welcome on the beautiful patio so your furbaby doesn’t need to miss out on the Thanksgiving fun. Chef Jason Prendergast is serving their traditional dinner family-style with dishes like Glacier Goat Milk Cheese, Flannery Dry Aged Prime Rib, and Warren Pear and Ginger Cobbler with Thyme Ice Cream for dessert.

Citrin – Santa Monica

For an upscale experience with chic vibes and a great outdoor garden space. Citrin is serving some seriously delectable delights, with dishes like Koji Cured Yellowtail Hamachi and Crispy Atlantic Black Bass with Melting Fennel and Champagne Reduction. If that’s not fancy enough, I’m not sure what is. The Butternut Squash Agnolotti even has the option to add shaved white truffles (+$95), and I am all about the truffles! Dinner is served from 2.30-7:45pm.

Inn of the Seventh Ray – Topanga

Celebrate Thanksgiving at one of the best outdoor dining spots in LA. Inn of the Seventh Ray is offering a Five Course menu starting with a choice of appetizer, soup, salad and onto the entrée of Apple Cider Brined Mary’s Free-Range Turkey with traditional sides and top of with a selection of four desserts to choose from, including an Amazake Pumpkin Pie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. Valet parking only for $8.

Geoffrey’s Malibu – Malibu

With spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and amazing ambiance, this family-friendly and dog-friendly spot are perfect to celebrate Thanksgiving. Geoffrey’s is offering their three-course menu for both Brunch and Dinner. Dishes include Oven Roasted Boneless Quail for the first course, Pan Seared Day Boat Scallops for the second, and Chocolate Crunch Bars for dessert – both of which I can confirm are delish! Valet $12.
