The collection drops July 18….
Golden Goose celebrated its Dreamed by Dr. Woo collection launch in Los Angeles with a private in-store event at Maxfield in Los Angeles followed by an intimate dinner at Chateau Marmont, co-hosted by famed tattoo artist Dr. Woo.
The fashionable crowd was made up of models, artists, actors, athletes and influencers, including Yovanna Ventura, Jackson Myles, Matt Cook, Myles Hendrik, Shaun Ross, David Alan Madrick, Marta Pozzan, Paris Brosnan, Alex Lee-Aillon, Olly Sholotan, Kahlil Beth, Cory Juneau, Keegan Palmer, RMR and more.
Exclusively previewing at Maxfield, this marks the third Dreamed By collection after the first HAUS of Dreamers event in Venice, Italy back in May.
HAUS is a global cultural platform to unleash creativity and will serve as a new home for Golden Goose’s community of dreamers. Laying its roots in Marghera, the industrial port of Venice, it’s a place that unites creatives of multiple disciplines, identities, and backgrounds. HAUS of Dreamers is now a series of global events for Golden Goose to bring the physical experience of HAUS outside of its homebase to key destinations around the globe.
To kick off HAUS of Dreamers in Venice, Golden Goose tapped five world-class multifaceted artists from different fields: Fabio Novembre, Quannah Chasinghorse, SUNMI, Suki Waterhouse and Dr. Woo, The brand asked each artist to reinterpret and personalize classic Venetian icons, resulting in limited-edition collections. Each artist co-dreamed a pair of footwear, a ready-to-wear piece, and a unique object linked to the artists’ Venetian experience.
Through the Dreamed by Dr. Woo Collection, the artist reinterprets classic Venetian damask, one of Venice’s many treasures that shaped the history of prestigious Italian textiles. The collection includes a decorative plate adorned with the Dr. Woo’s delicate tattoo designs, a genderless crew neck sweatshirt featuring all-over embroidered tattoo style designs and the artist’s lucky number 55 on the back and a pair of Super-Star sneakers, loaded with artwork by the artist himself, like a 3D embroidered detail of Woo’s trademark spider symbol.
The collection will be available at goldengoose.com and select stores globally starting from July 18.
