Icons on icons….
On June 22, fashion industry icon Betsey Johnson and Miley Cyrus’s Happy Hippie Foundation hosted a Los Angeles bash to celebrate their collaboration for the month of pride.
Inspired by Studio 54 and Andy Warhol’s The Factory, guests got a glimpse into the life of Betsey Johnson while commemorating her history with the LGBTQIA+ community.
There were multiple special performances by “Rupaul’s Drag Race” alumni Gottmik, Kandy Muse and Vanessa Vanji Mateo while guests enjoyed drinks alongside light bites and music from Aquaria.
Famous faces such as Chrishell Stause, Loren Gray, Harper Watters, Lydia Night, DJ “Shangela” Pierce, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, Breeda Wool, AJ Gibson, among many more, attended the event at Heart Weho to celebrate the beauty of pride month. Guests showed their pride and support all night long.
This year, Betsey Johnson committed to donating to the Happy Hippie Foundation to advance their mission of providing homeless youth, LGBTQ+ youth and other vulnerable populations with consistent support services, education, and employment opportunities. In celebration of Pride, throughout June, the designer will donate $1 for every purchase from her Pride collection on betseyjohnson.com to Happy Hippie through her partnership with ShoppingGives.
