Spooky vibes are back and here’s what you can look forward to…

We’re all in agreement about Hollywood being run by vampires at this point, right? The street numbers in DTLA definitely correspond with each circle of Hell, Santa Monica is inherently cursed, and one of the most frightening, invasive corporations in human history, Disney, started in Silver Lake. Like it, or not, Los Angeles is a haunted city, and just once per year do we get a chance to revel in its horrific nature. One weekend is there to cap the debauchery of last year before we have to start thinking about righting our wrongs and getting back on the “Nice” list so as to ease your conscience before seeing your family during the holidays:

With just a little over a week until final costume ideas need to be executed, it’s time to explore some of the best events across the vast LA sprawl. I will be highlighting four areas – DTLA, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Echo Park/Silver Lake – and picking three events from each area. Unfortunately, there are only so many options for events on Halloween itself, since it has fallen on a Sunday this year, so most will be on the 30th, allowing you to bring in the holiday at the party.

Here are the highlighted Halloween events in LA, courtesy of Loop Magazine:
