Jason Momoa & Aaron Paul Kick Off Night Market At The Bungalow Santa Monica

On June 6, Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica kicked off its summer series as guests stopped by to enjoy some of LA’s favorite restaurants, sip on specialty cocktails and vibe to music.
Aquaman 2 actor Jason Momoa brought his very own Meili Vodka to Night Market where guests were able to personally experience crafted cocktails directly from Jason.
Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul also came by Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica with his own Dos Hombres Mezcal, mixing cocktails as guests lined up for a chance to have their photo taken with Paul. He was seen passing out shots of mezcal and mingling with guests, and even a bird. The two stopped by one another’s pop up bar laughing, chatting and taking selfies with one another.
Later in the evening, the crowd went wild as Momoa joined his band ÖOF TATATÁ to cover “Voodoo Child” by Jimi Hendrix and play their first song “I Am Aries” on his bass accessorized by scrunchies.
Locals, families and tourists alike were able to enjoy beloved LA staples throughout the night such as The Boiling Crab, The Lonely Oyster, Tacos 1986, House of Empanadas, URBN Pizza, Fig/Soko, and The Bungalow’s Steamin’ Burger, as well as sweets from Good Times Ice Cream.
Night Market at The Bungalow Santa Monica (a part of the The Fairmont Miramar Hotel) is the ultimate foodie event of the summer with standout food vendors, beverage activations, family-friendly activities, live musical and DJ performances, and celebrity guest appearances.
Free and open to the public for guests of all ages and pet friendly, The Bungalow’s Night Market will run every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. through August 29.
“Every year, Night Market becomes an even more spectacular event with new food vendors, live music, great drinks, and surprise celebrity appearances,” says Brent Bolthouse, the creator of The Bungalow and Neon Carnival, “I want to bring people of all ages together, both local Angeleno’s and tourists alike, to enjoy each other’s company, celebrate and savor the best food LA has to offer. I’m excited for everyone to experience unforgettable summer nights with us at Night Market.”
Later this season, other brand activations, celebrity guest appearances and DJ and musical performances will include:
June 27: Tequila fans will be able to enjoy Lalo Tequila activating and mingle with co-owner Eduardo “Lalo” González, grandson of the famed Don Julio.
July 11: DJ set from Grammy-award winning artist DJ Pee .Wee, aka, Anderson .Paak, with his brand SelvaRey and AMASS’ Summer Water Rose’ Pizzolato. This evening will be a ticketed event and all proceeds of tickets sold will support Andersons own charity, .Paak House.
August 1: Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed will be bringing their brand, The Absorption Co., powdered supplements for absorption to give you solutions you can feel.
August 15: A live DJ performance by James Kennedy and brand activations by Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila and Kylie Jenner’s canned Sprinter Vodka Soda.
August 29: Night Market’s closing night will see the return of actress Eva Longoria and her tequila brand Casa Del Sol.
Additional vendors, brand activations, and DJs will be announced each week.
Additionally, on the second Thursday of each month, local rescue organization Wags & Walks will host an on-site meet & greet for its family of adoptable dogs rescued from local shelters.
