LA’s Best Craft: A Cocktail City Tour

Find a cocktail for every occasion…

There is no denying that Los Angeles has one of the most iconic nightlife scenes. Whether it be live entertainment, high-class restaurants or extravagant bars, LA has got it all. Although I find all these to be crucial parts of the nightlife experience, one of my favorite aspects would have to be the cocktails. There is nothing I love more than a crafty mixed drink that is sweet, strong and instagrammable. With much thought, I have put together a list of – what I believe are – the best cocktail places in Los Angeles. Read on for further details as well as personally recommended drinks.

An old-fashioned burlesque-themed cocktail bar with vulgar but funny drink names. My favorite cocktail off their menu was entitled ‘You’re Dead to Me.’

Located on the rooftop of the Ace Hotel, this pool-side lounge and bar serve one of the best Palomas I have ever tasted. Given this is one of my all-time favorite cocktails, I was particularly thrilled.

Another old-fashion themed bar and lounge include a dance floor area as well as a patio. This bar has a wide selection of craft cocktails, all with spectacular flavors and presentations.

Bar Flores has a homey yet classy vibe with a beautiful patio area to enjoy your favorite cocktails. The margaritas and martinis at the bar happen to be some of my favorite drinks.

This trendy bar is adorned with unique artwork and vintage displays. Although all the cocktails are great, my favorite happens to be ‘Chamberlain’s Sunset’ due to the citrusy flavors.

Firefly is a dark, romantic restaurant/bar that has both indoor lounge seating as well as patio seating. My favorite drink here is called ‘Hot in the City.’ I love this drink’s perfect balance of both sweet and spicy flavors.
