Music and motorsports collide.….

Machine Gun Kelly is ready to rock NASCAR.

On Sunday, Feb 4, the Busch Light Clash returns to the L.A. Memorial Coliseum for the thrid year in a row and will feature a mid-race break performance by MGK.

Machine Gun Kelly is the true embodiment of what it means to be a modern-day rock star,” said NASCAR’s Senior Vice President of Racing Development and Strategy Ben Kennedy. “We’re thrilled to have as captivating of an artist as MGK bring in the 2024 season during the Busch Light Clash at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.”

Electronic music producer and artist Dillon Frances will also be performing, serving as the pre-race DJ.

“Having Dillon Francis DJ for the Busch Light Clash adds another electrifying element to an energy-packed event,” said Kennedy. “Fans can anticipate a non-stop party starting with Dillon’s pre-race performance at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.”

The Clash is an annual non-championship pre-season NASCAR Cup Series exhibition event ahead of the Daytona 500, which officially kicks off the stock car season this year on Feb 18. The Clash was originally held each year at Daytona International Speedway from the race’s inception in 1979 until 2021, after which it was moved to Los Angeles beginning in 2022.

In addition to being the home of the USC Trojans football team, the L.A. Memorial Coliseum has hosted two Super Bowls, two Olympics, a World Series and countless other major events. For The Clash, a temporary race track is built inside the stadium, which is just ¼-mile in length.

In 2022, Pitbull performed a pre-race concert ahead of the race, followed by mid-race performance from Ice Cube. Last year, performers included Cypress Hill and Wiz Khalifa.

Prior to The Clash Cup Series race, featuring all-star drivers like Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, Kyle Bush and 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Ryan Blaney, the NASCAR Mexico Series will run their own exhibition race at the Coliseum prior to the Cup race.

NASCAR will also be hosting a ticketed pre-race party onsite featuring brunch, cocktails, a DJ, driver appearances and more.
