Let’s be honest, moms have the toughest jobs in the world, so this Mother’s Day, skip the corny cards and drugstore flowers and celebrate with what they really want: a good drink.  Whether you are a mom yourself or toasting to the matriarch in your life, shake up something special with the help of these 10 cocktail recipes—ranging from a springtime spritz to a booze-infused cold brew creation. We even included an elegant non-alcoholic martini so every mom can sip in style.

Mother Dearest

Spread the love with the refreshing flavors of Mother Dearest, with light notes of lime and hints of vanilla, Bacardí Superior Rum balances with the flavors of watermelon and grapefruit making this cocktail perfect for a spring day.

  • 1 ½ oz  Bacardí Superior
  • ¾ oz Watermelon Juice 
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Soda

Method: Fill a tall glass with lots of ice. Measure and pour all ingredients into your iced glass. Give all the ingredients a quick stir to combine everything together. A lime wedge is there for a little more acidity if you prefer and blueberries complete this drink’s pinkish color palette.

Sunny Vodka’s Spritz

Nothing says springtime quite like a refreshing spritz and Sunny Vodka knows how to make a damn good one. Their ultra-clean and crisp vodka literally tastes as it came straight from the cloudless blue sky and when mixed up simply with sweet agave nectar, soda water and lime juice, it tastes like a sunny Sunday day in a glass.

  • 2 oz Sunny Vodka
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Agave Nectar
  • 1 oz Craft Soda Water

Method: Serve in a rocks glass and garnish with cucumber and fresh mint sprig.

Champagne Sparkler

Every moment with mom (or as a mom) should be a celebration, so make her (or yourself) feel like a queen with this sensational sipper. Made with D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac (yes, the brand helmed by Jay-Z), the spirit features a powerful bouquet on its nose, rich woody notes and layered with touches of cinnamon and floral notes. Topped off with some bubbles and you’ve got an extra special treat.

  • 1 Part D’USSÉ VSOP Cognac
  • 1 Sugar Cube
  • 3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Top Martini & Rossi Asti Sparkling Wine

Method: Add D’USSÉ, sugar cube and bitters into a champagne flute. Top with chilled Martini & Rossi Asti Sparkling Wine.

Mom Fuel

For the mom who can’t start her day without a morning brew, try the deliciously creamy Teeling’s “Mom Fuel.” Made with cold brew, heavy cream, and heartwarming spices, this cocktail is the perfect addition to breakfast in bed on mom’s special day.

  • 2 parts Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
  • 2 parts Cold Brew
  • ½ part Demerara Syrup
  • Bar Spoon of Heavy Cream

Method: Shake Teeling Whiskey, Syrup, and cold brew over ice. Strain into a chilled glass filled with ice. Top with cream and garnish with grated nutmeg, or any spice of your choosing.

Queen Bee

Featuring sweet honey, cooling mint, and prosecco, The Aberfeldy “Queen Bee” is a fresh, bubbly delight bound to satisfy the lively mom who is the head of the hive.

  • 1 ½ oz Aberfeldy 12
  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice
  • ¾ oz Honey Syrup
  • Mint Leaves
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • Top with Prosecco or Sparking Wine
  • Garnish: Mint Sprig and Bee Pollen

Method: Add all ingredients to shaking tin, taking care to slap your mint prior to adding it to release its oils. Add ice and shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a coupe and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a mint sprig and bee pollen.

Guava Cooler

Nothing makes a mom smile like a drink that reminds them of the tropics, The Santa Teresa 1796 “Guava Cooler” is sure to make her feel like she’s in paradise. Paired with guava and lime, this cocktail bring the ultimate combination of fruity and refreshing.

  •  1 ½ oz Santa Teresa 1796
  • 2 oz Guava Nectar
  • Squeeze of Fresh Lime
  • Top with Club Soda

Method: Add all ingredients except club soda in shaken tin, add ice, shake and strain over glassware. Top with club Soda and garnish with lime wedge.

Select Sparkler Margarita

Flowers are great, but for a margarita lovin’ mama, tequila is where it’s at. Try mixing up Milagro’s modern Mother’s Day twist on a classic marg which includes rosé, making for a totally charming cocktail creation.

  • 1 part Milagro Select Silver
  • ½ part Fresh Lime Juice
  •  ½part Cointreau
  • 2 parts Sparkling Rosé

Method: Pour all ingredients, except sparkling rosé, into a Boston shaker. Add ice, shake and strain into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling rosé. Garnish with a strawberry.

Grapefruit Greyhound

While a classic greyhound cocktail consists of grapefruit juice and gin, American Harvest Vodka, based in Idaho, swapped the spirit base and created a new fruit-forward sipper that also includes a kitchen-favorited herb: rosemary. Mom will be howling over the deliciousness. 

  • 2 ½ oz. American Harvest Organic Vodka
  • 4 oz. Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 ½ oz Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • ½ oz. Lime Juice

Method:  Shake then pour into a rocks glass and garnish with a rosemary sprig.

Elderflower Earl

This one is literally almost too pretty to drink. 1800 Cristalino’s Elderflower Earl boasts a rich floral aroma with toasty tequila taste. Just make sure to assure mom that the name “elder” has NOTHING to do with her age.

  • 2 oz. 1800 Cristalino
  • ¼ oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • ½ oz Earl Grey Syrup
  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice

Method: Add all ingredients into a shaker and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with an edible flower. 

Rose Martini

For the mom that loves a timeless classic, sans alcohol, we recommend the Rose Martini, Martini & Rossi’s non-alcoholic twist on arguably the most classic cocktail.

  • 3 oz. Martini & Rossi Vibrante
  • ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¼ oz Monin Rose
