COBI’S
In honor of all the mothers out there, COBI’S is making it personal this year by showcasing recipes from the moms of COBI’S stellar team members Saturday and Sunday (that is, owner Cobi Marsh‘s mom’s favorite dishes from the menu, Chef Arnie Marcella‘s mother’s Filipino classics of Chicken Adobo and Longsilog Sausage with fried egg + garlic rice, and General Manager Mars de Asis‘ mom’s Toron, which is a Filipino fried banana dessert).
In addition to specialty nibbles, COBI’S will also be featuring roving Mimosa Carts for guests, including an array of juices to choose from, as well as floral bouquets + candles from Cobi’s other passion project, Herbe Fragrances, available for purchase, with the whole experience brought together by way of live music from multi-platinum artist Nathaniel Willemse.
SPAGO BEVERLY HILLS
This Mother’s Day, Wolfgang Puck‘s flagship restaurant Spago Beverly Hills in the heart of Beverly Hills will be serving up a delightful four course menu including amuse by Chef de Cuisine Areg Avanessian and Chef Della’s Pie & Cake Pop up Shop. There will also be world class live jazz music from by The Brenna Whitaker Quartet from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. Adult Tickets are $195 (Kids 10 & Under are $85).
