Rap duo El-P and Killer Mike aka Run the Jewels made waves with their LP Run the Jewels, and now they are performing for four nights here in Los Angeles to celebrate their 10 year anniversary!

October 12: An Evening With Metric at The Roxy

Founded by Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw, Metric is celebrating the release of their latest LP, Formentera II, which comes out Oct 13 by having a concert the night before.

October 15: Jukebox the Ghost Presents Halloqueen at The Regent Theater

With the perfect name for October, Jukebox the Ghost, a piano-rock trio is putting on a performance entitled “Halloqueen.” This highly accredited band who has even performed on The Late Show with David Letterman and Conan is sure to bring the spooky vibes, and will be joined by music group Wolves of Glendale.

October 16: James Supercave at The Troubadour 

The art pop band James Supercave describes itself as being “Bowie and Morrissey influenced” and are known for their energetic performances. This concert is helping gain excitement for a debut self-titled EP schedule to release this spring.

Sofar Sounds is known for its secret, intimate gigs where patrons don’t know who is performing until they get there. With multiple concerts in LA each month, they are back in West Adams and still as secretive as ever.

October 25: Angel City Jazz Fest – Harriet Tubman and OCEANS AND with Tim Bernes at the Zebulon

Angel City Jazz Festival starts October 13th and goes all the way until the 29th, and this is an event that you do not want to miss.Two jazz trios, Harriet Tubman and OCEANS AND will headline this 21+ event. Get ready to sway to the blues of the saxophone, cello, bass, soulful vocals and more.
