The Great North American Eclipse is here…

Get ready to look up (….safely that is).

A total solar eclipse will take place at the Moon’s ascending node on Monday, April 8, visible across North America and dubbed the Great North American Eclipse by some media. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth.

The eclipse will be the first in the United States since August 21, 2017 and the only total solar eclipse in the 21st century where totality will be visible in Mexico, the United States and Canada.

Ingredients:

  • Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint
  • Blue Curaçao
  • Fever‑Tree Tonic Water

Method:

Shake and strain in a Collins glass.

Gran Coramino’s Spring Equinox

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gran Coramino Cristalino
  • 0.25 oz Dolin Genepy
  • 0.7 5oz Fresh Sweet Pea and Pineapple Syrup
  • 1 oz Lime
  • 2 dashes 80/20 Saline
  • Frozen Peas for Garnish 

Method: Chill a rocks glass by placing it in the freezer while you prepare your cocktail. Once the syrup is ready, combine all ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake for 6-8 seconds. Double strain over 1 large ice cube, Garnish with skewered frozen peas,

DARK COCKTAILS

American Harvest Vodka’s Solstice Sour

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz American Harvest Organic Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Concord Grape Syrup
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Medium Egg White (Optional)
  • Lemon Peel for Garnish

Method:

Shake and strain in a coupe. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Chica~Chida’s La Mera Mera

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz of Chica~Chida
  • 1 oz of Espresso
  • Coffee Beans for Garnish

Method: Shake and strain in a coupe. Garnish with coffee beans.
