Coachella continues this weekend in Indio, Calif. and if you aren’t headed to the desert, we get it, the FOMO back in LA can be real. But don’t you worry. Folamour at Sound Nightclub

Fresh off playing the Yuma tent at Coachella, Folamour jumps behind the decks at Sound Nightclub this week. The famed French DJ and producer released his first mixtape Chapeau Rouge in 2015 on Fauxpas Music and later he started his own record label FHUO (For Heaven Use Only) whose sound is described as “jazz from outta space.” Most recently he released his album Manifesto which included the disco house energy tracks like “Poundland Anthem” and “Freedom.” Heidi Lawden will also perform this Wednesday.

Techno Night Market at Station1640

Taylor Swift ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Listening Party at TrulyLA

Calling all Swifities! Taylor’s 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department finally drops this week and there are several listening parties happening around LA. Kicking off the artist’s new era, Truly LA will be transforming its DTLA hub in to an immersive Taylor wonderland complete with poetry-inspired Trulixirs, themed food specials, a Taylor-inspired photo booth, a friendship bracelet making station, personal poetry writer and more. The fun will kick off with Taylor Trivia from 6:30 p.m. 8 p.m., followed by the listening party at 9 p.m.

Taylor Swift ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Listening Party at The Virgil

Silverlake hotspot The Virgil  will also be hosting a The Tortured Poets Department listening party Friday. The bar’s DJs will play the entire new record alongside the rest of Taylor Swift’s discography and some other pop bangers. You can also expect tasty Taylor-inspired cocktails and performances from fabulous local drag queens. Dressing up and sharing friendship bracelets are highly encouraged.
