Stand Up For Pits
Pitbulls are one of the most misunderstood breeds. Often seen as vicious and aggressive, these dogs actually have a natural gentle demeanor and love to people please (which makes them easily trainable). Unfortunately these sweethearts are the most common breed to be found in shelters and most at risk for euthanasia.
Stand Up For Pits is trying to put a stop to this stigmatization and is having an event this Sunday to raise money. The fundraiser will take place at The Bourbon Room and will include photo opportunities with a red carpet, performances from renowned comedians, a silent auction and more. There will also be a donation drive for SUFP shelter.
When: Sunday, Nov. 5th at 3 p.m.
Where: The Bourbon Room, 6356 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles
