Miami F1 Race Week Guide: What’s New, What To Do & Where To View

Start your engines! The 2024 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix is set to go green on Sunday, May 5. Back for its third year, the high-profile race will take place over 57 laps across the Miami International Autodrome—which Miami Dolphins fans know as the Hard Rock Stadium parking lots— featuring fan favorite drivers like Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and more. 

Limited tickets are still available and marquee viewing spaces at the Grand Prix, such as the MIA Marina and Hard Rock Beach Club, return this year with a lineup of live entertainment hospitality areas featuring more than 80 food and drink purveyors.


Of course, the excitement extends far beyond the auto race itself. The entire city of Miami will turn electric with celeb-packed parties, live concerts, exciting dining experiences, nightlife events and more.

This year’s Championship Club venue is a three-story structure with an open terrace on level 3 positioned inside the track at Turn 5. Hard Rock Beach Club returns for F1 Weekend featuring performers like Ed Sheeran, John Summit,  Steve Aoki, Don Omar, and more. Bouchon Bistro

Chef Thomas Keller’s award-winning French bistro in Coral Gables, Bouchon, occupies the historic La Palma building constructed in 1924, formerly home to one of the longest-standing hotels in the city. Open to the public from Monday, April 29 to Sunday, May 5, the official Williams Racing Fan Zone presented by Kraken will bring fans closer to the F1 action in the heart of Miami. There will be the opportunity to interact with drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant and other key team members, plus purchase exclusive Williams Racing and Miami GP merchandise.

Bigger and better for 2024, the Fan Zone will offer a range of interactive experiences including F1 racing simulators, MyProtein’s batak machines, Komatsu’s digger simulator, and the Heritage Zone where you can explore the team’s decorated history.

Williams Racing’s partners will provide even more ways to enjoy the Fan Zone, with the Givenchy Gentleman Society inviting fans to sample their new fragrance and win racing themed fragrance bottles. F1 Weekend at Esplanade at Aventura
