The Rooftop Cinema Club is the ultimate open-air film experience in the heart of L.A.’s Arts District. With skyline views from a 5th floor terrace at ROW DTLA, this is the perfect place for taking in a flick set in Los Angeles. This Thursday, it’s a showing of “La La Land,” the ultimate cinematic love letter to the City of Angeles, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

During the movie, treat yourself to classic cinema concessions, including fresh popcorn, candy and soft drinks, as well as more substantial fare like hot dogs, pretzels and nachos. Hi-Lo Liquor will also be on hand bringing the best of the local craft beer scene, regional wines, hard kombuchas and refreshing spritz and mocktail concoctions to the cinema.

Peaches and Cream Throwback Party 


Giving you nostalgic moments from the ’90s, 2000s, and 2010s, the”Peaches And Cream” Throwback Party is going down inside The Vermont Hollywood. Hosted by the MILA Group, the night will feature music by DJ Kryp2nite spinning the best R&B and Hip Hop throwbacks.

When: Friday, Aug. 11 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Creative House Rodeo Party

 

Saddle up and kick up your boots for the ultimate rodeo party, where the spirit of the Wild West comes alive in Inglewood! This one-of-a-kind event will take place at The Creative House Gallery where partygoers will are encouraged to show up in their best cowboy or cowgirl attire,

The highlight of the evening will be the thrilling mechanical bull contest. Test your skills and see how long you can hold on as the bull bucks and spins beneath you. Compete against other rodeo enthusiasts for the chance to win fantastic prizes and bragging rights as the ultimate mechanical bull rider. There will be hot DJs and free drinks throughout the event including soft drinks, mocktails, and even some specialty cowboy-themed cocktails.

The All a Blur Tour, the co-headlining event with Drake and 21 Savage, kicks off its first of four nights at the Kia Forum on Saturday. Hitting the road in promotion of the artists’ collaborative album Her Loss, the tour marks Drake’s first in North America in five years. Fire up your Insta Stories and get ready to make your friends jealous. If you aren’t able to make it Inglewood, don’t panic. The tour will be swinging back through L.A. again for two nights at Crypto.com Arena starting Aug. 21.
