American Vintage celebrated 20 years of effortless style with Christina Masterson, Christian Isaiah, Eyal Booker, and more at their new Venice location.Â

American Vintage rang in its 20th birthday with a takeover of Abbot Kinney in Venice last Saturday night, transforming its newest U.S. store into the epicenter of LA’s fashion crowd. More than a milestone and store launch, the evening doubled as the French label’s long-awaited debut into the LA fashion scene, and it arrived in style.

Guests, including LOOP editors, stepped into an atmosphere that was electric yet intimate. Stylish crowds gathered in a space that blurred the line between showroom and nightclub, which featured a live dance performance and DJ set that brought the 20-year capsule collection to life. Celebrities, fashionistas, and influencers moved through the crowd as DJs Twee & IZY set a steady rhythm that kept the evening buzzing with excitement.Â

Create Hospitality dished out global bites from poke to bratwurst, while LALO Tequila, Copalli Rum, Roseblood d’Estoublon wine, and De Soi spritzes kept the conversations flowing and the mood elevated. Meanwhile, TRIAAANGLES handled live screen-printing of exclusive American Vintage Ă— TRIAAANGLES tees, which were playful mementos of the brand’s 20th birthday, and first official night in LA.Â

The crowd was alive with young Hollywood and fashion insiders. Rocky Barnes and Christina Masterson (Power Rangers) turned heads, while Christian Isaiah (Shameless) and Love Island’s Eyal Booker worked the room. They were joined by other notable attendees including: Corbyn Besson, Clara Berry, Cameron Field, Jelena Weir, Michelle Kennelly, Elina Danilova, Aki and Koichi, Jacob Villegas, Lisa Germaneau, Justine Cuenco, Jade Hallyday, Oscar Rose, Lucie Rose, Ramon Azevedo, Renee Maudlena Noe, Nil Sani, Sally Kim, Gym Tan, Ani B., Taylor Krause, Tess Christine, Tristan Garnier Labadie, Lauren Kennedy, Taylor Cole, Vivid Wu, Yizhou and many more.
Earlier in the week, American Vintage seeded local buzz with a string of in-store activations: surprise ice cream, matcha shots, churros, popcorn, lemonade, and cold-pressed juices. Each day was a teaser leading up to the main event, and these thoughtful gestures made the Venice opening feel like a true community moment.

Founded in 2005 in France by Michaël Azoulay, American Vintage has become defined by its signature staples such as relaxed knits, simple tees, and tonal layers that blend elegance with ease. For 20 years, the brand has built a global following around luxurious clothes that whisper rather than shout, and this celebration was a fitting tribute to that legacy.

By the time the lights dimmed on Abbot Kinney and the music faded into laughter and lingering cocktails, the message was clear: American Vintage didn’t just open a store, it marked a milestone. Two decades in, the brand continues to celebrate minimalism, community and culture, and now LA has a new fashion landmark to call its own.
