Micah Lussier, Loop Mag’s dazzling December cover star, is closing out 2024 in the most unforgettable way. I first met Micah this summer at the Cannes Film Festival. After a fabulous week together and following her 2024 journey via social media afterwards—when it came time to pick our year-end cover star, Micah was the obvious choice.
2024 has been nothing short of iconic for Micah. From jet-setting across the globe to stealing hearts on her hit reality TV show, Perfect Match, her year has been a whirlwind of adventure, triumphs, and memorable connections. Having caught glimpses of her exciting journey, I’m thrilled to share her story with you.
Loop Mag reunited with Micah at The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood for a photoshoot that perfectly captured her glam-meets-effortless vibe. The chic, stylish backdrop reflected her bold and fun personality, while our exclusive interview dove into the moments, lessons, and plans that made her year one for the books.
The Wild Rides of 2024
As we prepare to ring in 2025, Micah reflects on her year—though some memories, she admits, are a little fuzzy. “The craziest nights this year? Definitely in Ibiza and Tokyo,” she says with a laugh. “Those nights where you wake up wishing you remembered more.” But isn’t that the magic of a great night out? It’s all about the energy, the spontaneity, and the stories that live on—even if the details don’t.
Her love for travel took her everywhere this year, but one destination stood out: Harajuku, Japan. “It’s a coastal town, and it felt like stepping into another world,” she shares, still enchanted by its charm. Yet, Cannes holds a special place in her heart. “Sailing along the French Riviera was a dream come true,” she beams. The effortless sophistication of Cannes mirrors Micah’s vibe as a beauty-loving, globe-trotting jet-setter. Some of the other places Micah visited this year include Mexico, New York City, London, Italy, Ibiza, Barcelona, Costa Rica, Nantucket, Lake Tahoe, and most recently, Las Vegas with MGM Grand.
The Glam Life, Unfiltered
Known for her infectious energy, Micah surprises us by revealing a more introspective side. “People might be shocked, but I’m kind of an introvert,” she admits. “I’ve had to push myself to be social to thrive in this industry.” It’s a candid confession that makes her relatable—even the most glamorous stars need time to recharge.
Authenticity is key for Micah, especially in today’s digital world. TikTok is her go-to platform for staying real with her fans. “Instagram shows a perfect life, but TikTok? That’s where you can truly be yourself,” she says. By letting her personality shine, she connects with followers in a way that feels genuine and refreshing.
Fashion and beauty are central to Micah’s nightlife adventures, but dressing up isn’t always glamorous. “Picking an outfit is the worst part of my day,” she laughs. “Even with four closets, I’ll swear I have nothing to wear!” Yet, she consistently nails effortlessly chic looks, often from Cupshe, that balance style and comfort. “If you’re not comfortable, it shows,” she explains. “And if you’re not comfortable, you’re probably not looking cute.”
For Micah, the perfect night out is about the company. “The setting is nice, but it’s the people who make it unforgettable,” she says. Of course, a well-curated vibe—good food, thoughtful details, and an open bar—doesn’t hurt. Her dream party? A cozy yacht gathering in Monaco with friends, comfy sweats, and endless laughs. “We’d all just be eating and drinking. It’d be perfect,” she grins.
Drinks, Dishes, and Down Time
When it comes to drinks, Micah stays loyal to her signature: a skinny, spicy margarita with La Sirena Tequila and tajín on the rim. “It’s my go-to everywhere,” she says, though she’ll occasionally switch to a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Food is another passion, and she’s proud of her culinary skills. Her specialty? Gigi Hadid’s spicy rigatoni pasta. “It’s so good. I’ve mastered it,” she says confidently.
While her nights out are legendary, Micah treasures quieter moments, too. “A night in? Face masks, candles, incense, and TV,” she says. The holidays add a festive twist to her downtime. Growing up, Christmas Eve meant a movie date with her mom, a tradition she cherishes. As for indulgence? “Calories don’t count during the holidays,” she laughs. “Extra pumps, cold foam—bring it on!”
Holiday movies bring her comfort, with The Holiday topping her list. “It’s so cute and funny, and I love watching it anytime,” she shares.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As the new year approaches, Micah is focused on growth. “I want to rebuild my internal confidence and strengthen my mental health,” she says. Misunderstood by some as having “mean girl energy,” she addresses the misconception. “That’s not me. Anyone who knows me sees how much I love my friends and family.”
