Although a smaller neighborhood of Los Angeles, Los Feliz is no stranger to fine dining or a crafty cocktail experience. With so many different styles of restaurants and bars, there is a venue in Los Feliz for every person and occasion.
I’m all up for trying new places and always ready to explore the many unique spots that LA has to offer. So, when I was asked to check out The Victorian, I was like sure – it’s been a while since I had a proper night out. Plus, The Victorian is currently one of the IT spots for nightlife and touted as ‘the new Bungalow,’ so I also had to see what all the fuss was about!

While the venues on Rose or Abbot Kinney provide a chic backdrop for a GNO or date night, the bars on Washington Blvd are cool and casual – from funky, dive style to DJs with light shows. But recently, Venice’s most coveted reservation is at The Pier House, which reopened this June with a fresh interior and fun new menu.
Now, E.P. & L.P., Catch Steak, and Melroseplace LA are all a hop, skip, and a jump away, located
near the intersection of Melrose and La Cienega.

I pulled up my expansive list of LA hot spots and found the relatively new Sparrow, located in the historic and gorgeous Hotel Figueroa and serving up modern coastal Italian – yes, please!
Although I find all these to be crucial parts of the nightlife experience, one of my favorite aspects would have to be the cocktails. There is nothing I love more than a crafty mixed drink that is sweet, strong, and instagrammable.
Although it can be difficult to find LGBTQ+ based venues in most parts of the country, this is definitely not the case for Los Angeles.
