NBA All-Star Weekend Hits Zouk LA: Gunna, Jamie Foxx, and NBA Stars Take Over

NBA All-Star Weekend seemed to overtake Los Angeles with back-to-back events, but by Friday and Saturday night, the players, chart-toppers, and familiar faces like Jamie Foxx and Gunna, had landed at Zouk LA to close out the weekend in full swing.

Friday night belonged to Gunna, who took the stage at Zouk to run through his set of crowd favorites like Just Say Dat, WGFT, Nasty Girl, and Fukumean. NBA players moved throughout the room as every track landed with the packed dance floor. Drinks from El Tesoro Tequila, MoĂ«t & Chandon, Hennessy, Maker’s Mark, and GHOST Energy flowed as everyone lost themselves to the moment, all while the weekend was only just beginning.

Saturday night carried a slightly different energy, subtly shifting as Valentine’s Day brought a stylish crowd through the doors. There was a sense that something unexpected might happen, like the night was about to take its own direction. Then Jamie Foxx stepped into the DJ booth, and the night took a full turn as the crowd got caught in the energy that defines what Zouk nights are all about.

Foxx debuted Somebody, his first single in ten years, officially released the night before on Foxxhole Productions. J Young MDK, who co-produced the track, moved between the mic and booth, introducing the song as the crowd leaned into it.

When Foxx moved onto Golddigger, the mood naturally felt nostalgic, prompting the room to sing along before he stepped back into DJ mode. DJ Bamboozle helped guide the night’s pulse, as an encore of Somebody closed the moment, letting the debut land fully before keeping the rhythm going for the rest of the night.

By the time NBA All-Star Weekend began to wind down across the city, Zouk LA had already claimed the weekend. While events rotated and rooms emptied elsewhere, this was where the night stayed and the energy never faded.Â
