Offset Releases Self-Directed “Fan” Music Video And Announces Album

Offset gifts fans with “Fan”…

Offset has officially announced his second album Set It Off. The rapper’s latest project is set to release Oct. 13, five years after his debut album Father of Four.

To get fans excited, he also released the album’s single “Fan,” as well as its music video. The music video, directed by the rapper himself, pays homage to the late Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” music video.

Fans watch Offset walk his girlfriend, played by actress Paige Hurd. She breaks up with him, and there is a switch between clips of Offset laying on a mattress during a riot, turning into a werewolf, and even turning into a zombie at one point.

“I’ve been working on this project for over two years now,” Offset shared in a press release. “This season is personal for me. It marks a new chapter in my life. I feel like Michael Jackson coming from a successful group breaking records to superstardom on my own. This body of work is healing for me and a letter to my fans and supporters.”

Offset and his wife Cardi B are definitely making waves this month, as the female rapper dropped a single of her own earlier this month entitled “Bongos” with Megan Thee Stallion. We’re excited to see what the rest of 2023 has in store for this power couple.
