Raise a toast to the 96th Academy Awards, set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, March 10.

Comedian Jimmy Kimmel is scheduled to host the show for the fourth time with A-List presenters including Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, Zendaya and more.

This year Christopher Nolan‘s WWII blockbuster Oppenheimer leads the nominee pack with 13 nods, followed by Poor Things starring Emma Stone with 11 nods and Killers of the Flower MoonMartin Scorsces and Leonardo Dicaprio‘s sixth feature film together—with 10.

The Barbenheimer

In honor of the joint movie premier duo, Barbie and Oppenheimer, cheers with this adventurous cocktail with contrasting and yet surprisingly complimentary flavors making a unique movie experience.

Ingredients:

  • 1. 5oz BACARDÍ Gold Rum
  •  1.5 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 0.35 oz Ruby Port
  • Mint Sprig as Garnish

Method:

In a glass filled with crushed ice, pour the first four ingredients and churn to mix. Top with port and garnish with a mint sprig.

Pour Things

A play on the title of one of the biggest movies this year, Poor Things, this cocktail is sweet and sour like Bella Baxter!

In a shaker, combine the St‑Germain, tequila and fresh lime juice. Then, add ice and shake vigorously until it’s nicely chilled. Lastly, strain over ice in a rocks glass and garnish with a lime wedge for the perfect margarita.

Good Old Days

Inspired by Past Lives, take a sip of tradition and nostalgia with this cocktail that is sure to transport you into one of your past lives.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Santa Teresa 1796
  • 0.25 Demerara Sugar Syrup
  • 3 Dashes 1796 Cacao bitters
  • Orange Peel to Garnish

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Stir until fully mixed together. Strain over rockers or ice block. Garnish with an orange peel.

The Torched Cherry

Get transported to New England with The Torched Cherry, inspired by the DIY spiked Cherry Jubilee featured in The Holdovers. This smokey drink will get your cherry fix with three simple ingredients, no fire involved.

Stir all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Add fondant lace wrap around the interior of the glass before pouring the cocktail. Garnish with orange peel and cherry.

French 75

Inspired by the 30-year story shown in Maestro, travel back to where it all started in 1947 with one of the most popular cocktails at the time, the French 75. Light and citrusy, this wartime classic is sure to impress at any Oscars watch party.

Add fresh lemon and sugar to a shaker and stir to dissolve. Add Bombay Sapphire Premier Cru and fill with cubed ice. Shake well and then strain into your champagne flute. Top with chilled Brut Champagne. Stir slowly and garnish with a lemon peel twist.

Bubbly DiCaprio

Cheers to Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro’s tenth film together Killers of the Flower Moon with a twist on lead Leonardo DiCaprio’s favorite cocktail. Enjoy a refreshing bubbly cocktail made easy with three simple ingredients.

Combine all ingredients over ice in a Highball glass. Stir to incorporate. Garnish with a lemon wedge or wheel and a “golf tee” cocktail pick.

 

The Golden Man

Inspired by the iconic award, toast to a night celebrating wonder and the best in film with D’USSE Cognac, sugar cubes, and a splash of champagne.

Add D’USSÉ, sugar cube and bitters into a champagne flute or tall glass. Top with chilled MARTINI & ROSSI Asti Sparkling Wine.

Box Office

A bright and elegant cocktail made with GREY GOOSE Le Citron Flavored Vodka, Absinthe, celery bitters and served with orange zest, toast to the night’s best films.

Add all ingredients to a shaker, using a bar spoon twice to collect the honey. Shake until chilled and fine strain into Highball glass with ice. Garnish with an apple slice.
