8 Thanksgiving-Inspired Cocktails To Enjoy With Dinner

A feast for imbibers…….
Everyone has their favorite Thanksgiving fixins like mashed potatoes or pumpkin pie,’ but what we really look forward to is the Turkey Day-themed booze.
Whether you’re celebrating Friendsgiving with the crew or throwing back a few with the fam, try one of these Thanksgiving-inspired cocktails that are sure to make you wobble while you gobble.
Fistful of PSL
Ingredients:
- 1 part of Fistful of Bourbon
- 2 cups of Milk
- 2 tablespoons of Pumpkin Puree
- ½ tablespoon of Pumpkin Spice
- ½ cup of Coffee
Method: Add all ingredients except for the bourbon in a warming vessel – this could be a pot on the stove for a few minutes or in a bowl, covered with Saran Wrap, cut 3 slits and microwave for one minute. Once warm, pour in Fistful of Bourbon and transfer into your favorite mug. Top with whip cream and dust with pumpkin spice. (makes approximately 2 drinks)
Harvest Honey
Ingredients:
- 2 parts The Balvenie Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year Old
- ½ part Pineau des Charentes Dessert Wine
- 1 barspoon Spiced Honey
- 3 dashes Molasses Bitters
Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass, add ice, and stir briefly. Strain into a coupe glass.
Cranberry Paloma
Ingredients:
- 1½ parts Milagro Select Silver
- ¾ part Fresh Lime Juice
- ¾ part Cranberry Juice
- ½ part Thyme Simple Syrup
- 2 parts Pink Grapefruit Soda
Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake briefly to combine & chill. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with apple slices.
Apple Endzone Elixir
- 2 parts Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
- 4 parts Apple Cider
- ½ part Honey
Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker, using a bar spoon twice to collect the honey. Shake until chilled and fine strain into a Highball glass with ice. Garnish with an apple slice.
Pumpkin Spice Lebowski
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Reyka Vodka
- 1 part Coffee Liqueur
- 1 part Heavy Cream
- ½ tsp of Pumpkin Pie Spice
Method: Combine heavy cream and pumpkin pie spice into a cocktail shaker and shake. Add Reyka Vodka and Coffee Liqueur and shake with ice. Serve on the rocks and garnish with cocoa puffs.
Harvest Dram
Ingredients:
- 2 oz ABERFELDY 12 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- ½ oz Mulled Wine Syrup
- 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
- 2 dashes Orange Bitters
Method: Add Aberfeldy 12, mulled wine syrup and bitters to a mixing glass and stir. Pour into a rocks glass and add block ice. Garnish with an orange peel and cloves.
Thanksgiving Rum Punch
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottle Ten To One White Rum
- 17 oz Fresh Apple Juice
- 8½ oz Cinnamon Syrup
- 4½ oz Lemon Juice
- 4½ oz Water
- 10 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Method: Add all ingredients to a punch bowl or pitcher. Add a large block of ice. Garnish with thinly sliced apple and freshly grated cinnamon. Serve in a coupe or punch glass.
The Gift
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Gran Coramino Cristalino
- 0.75 oz Pear Nectar
- ½ oz Lemon Juice
- 1⁄4 oz Honey
- 1⁄4″ knob of Ginger
- 1 Pinch of Cinnamon
- Rocks Glass
Method: Muddle Ginger in Cocktail Shaker . Add Fresh Ice, Cristalino, Pear Nectar, Lemon Juice, Honey & Cinnamon to Shaker. Shake then strain into rocks glass over Fresh Ice. Garnish with Cinnamon Stick, Sage Sprig and Pomegranate Seeds
