Netflix Is A Joke Fest is back for 2024. The largest comedy event in history is taking over LA May 2 – 12 with more than three hundred shows at thirty different venues. One of the most anticipated events of the fest is going down for two nights at the legendary Hollywood Bowl featuring headline performers Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze and Sebastian Maniscalco.

Influenced by the love of organic dub and pristine electronics, Ott. combines bass-heavy rhythm, abstract soundscapes and timeless melodies into a huge, ever-shifting sonic universe, intended to convey a spirit of hope & positivity. This week, the ORLOVE event, in collaboration with GRLSWIRL, will feature music by Subswami and DJ Shayn, art by Danit & Megs and tea ceremony and vintage clothes by Prolong Tea.

Official Beverly Hills Film Festival After Party at Warwick

Hollywood hotspot Warwick will be hosting a a night of unparalleled glamour and excitement with the official after-party of the prestigious Beverly Hills Film Festival. Step into a celebration where the magic of cinema comes alive. The event will include a red carpet entrance, celebrity guests, live DJs, speciality cocktails, a VIP experience and more. Dress code is Hollywood chic.

Official Devault, Ekkstacy & DJ Popgun at Brooklyn Projects LA

Devault, Ekkstacy and DJ Topgun have come together to announce the release of their upcoming single “It Isn’t Easy” – colliding their worlds of electronic music, rock and pop. The announcement is paired with a pop-up in Los Angeles at famous local skateshop, Brooklyn Projects. Bringing together communities of dance music and skating – two great passions of the all the collaborators – for an epic evening of a first listen of the new record, skating from some of LA’s finest skaters, food, drink, DJ sets all night and a special limited run of a collab tee. 
 
“It Isn’t Easy” is due out May 17 and taken from Devault’s forthcoming EP Sensation due for release on July 12. The project also features Slayyyter, Tommy Genesis, Col3trane, Sophie Cates, and Njomza

BeachLife Festival

Beachlife Festival, the largest beach party and live music festival in Southern California returns to Redondo Beach this weekend. The big oceanside event will feature headlining sets from Sting, Incubus, and My Morning Jacket, as well as DEVO, Dirty Heads, Trey Anastasio + Classic TAB, ZZ Top, Seal, Local Natives, Fleet Foxes, Santigold and many more.

Blastoyz at Academy LA

Blastoyz brings more his signature psytrance sound to Academy LA on Friday. The Israeli producer, musician and DJ has released multiple singles and EP’s on labels such as Alteza, Armada, Dreamstate and Spinnin’ and has performed at major festivals such as, Tomorrowland, A State of Trance, Transmission, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival and more.

Kentucky Derby Watch Party at Videre

The 150th running of the Kentucky Derby takes place this Saturday and Videre is throwing a fun watch party. The rooftop restaurant atop Kimpton Hotel Wilshire will be serving up specialty cocktails in celebration of the event including Mint Juleps, a Triple Crown Margarita, and a Kentucky Mule. Their happy hour and dinner menus will also be available for grabbing a bite during the races. Don’t forget to don your Derby best.

On the eve of Cinco De Mayo, two of the biggest icons on the Reggaeton scene are coming together for to one party in DTLA. Zinqué de Mayo at Zinqué Malibu

The Malibu newcomer to the Zinqué portfolio is throwing a special event for their first Cinco de Mayo this weekend, which will come in the form of a spirit standoff between Raicilla de Una + Catedral Mezcal. In addition to tastings of the two (neat, as well as in cocktail preparations), there will also be $8 tacos + quesadillas on offer all night long.

One of the biggest Cinco de Mayo party in the world, Netflix, Sony, Casamigos, KM Music, and Affinity Nightlife will taking over The Godfrey in Hollywood this Sunday. Yng Lucas and Xaviiiofficiall will host the evening, ensuring an electrifying atmosphere DJs Rico, Dre Sinatra, Craze and friends will keep the beats going all night long while marciachi bands and livebanda will be on hand serving up experience authentic Mexican music that stirs the soul. Cirque Du Brunch and Cinco de Mayo at Jungle Hollywood

In tandem with its grand opening, the new jungle-themed nightclub Jungle Hollywood is throwing a double dose of fun this Sunday with its Cirque Du Brunch and Cinco de Mayo party. The themed is Sombrero Soiree inspired by the vibrant culture of Mexico and the iconic symbol of the sombrero. Jungle encourages guests to dress in traditional Mexican attire and wear their most festive attire, with sombreros being the centerpiece of the outfit. Whether it’s a traditional wide-brimmed sombrero adorned with colorful embroidery or a playful mini-sombrero perched atop the head, creativity is key.
